Aarhus Airport

A compact, friendly and super efficient airport. Fast security, great food, good views. Would love all small airports to be like this.

It is a small airport that is currently undergoing refurbishment. Passport control was quick and bus will wait for all passengers to come off flight before departing. Airport is around 45 minutes from the centre. Clean and tidy. I would use again .

It is quite a small airport but extremely fancy and high tech vibed one. The interiors are no less than airport hotels and there is usually not too much crowding here. Saw lots of private airplanes ✈ taking off while waiting for my flight. There is a lovely duty free section and often have crazy sales on perfumes and a quaint cafe with not too many options.

Also, there’s a play zone for kids so if you’re with family it is quite ideal.

This is a great little airport! It’s small and has few flights, but everyone here is relaxed and smiling, even at security. Plenty of places to sit in an airy lounge with view of the tarmac. A well-stocked duty free. Only negative point is the outside tent that serves as the gate for Ryanair flights. Supposedly work in progress.

My first experienced in this airport has been nothing but Fantastic 🫶🏻❤ Cozy, clean and great service ❤

Small airport but very nice. Restaurant area cozy and comfortable with good food. Not so many flights in one day, so not crowded place. Mamy places for sitting. Right now outside area under construction but hope soon will be better.

Small and not too busy airport. Incredible waiting areas and high quality restaurant. Staff polite including security, which is quite rare! There's some construction works undergoing so should be little different in the near future.

I Love this airport! It’s the coziest one i’ve been in, i compare every airport i go to with this one and get disappointed. Nothing beats Aarhus Airport. Their fries are delicious too! I wish they served them in the morning tho.

Renovated airport, beautiful, clean and modern. I highly recommend to fly from Aarhus airport.

New renovation, but easy and comfortable, It's just that it's far from the city to get there by public transportation, just one combination.

Very helpful staff the airport is modern, clean & and a nice cafe. There are plenty of comfortable seats about the airport.

Hands down the best airport I have ever travelled through. Immaculate soft play for the kids, just 7 gates. Through each bit without any queuing at all. Car rentals a stones throw from the main building. Bean bags in the waiting area and big sofas. Very scandinavian and superb!! The staff were also brilliant and attentive ans kind and chatty. Loved it.

It's like visiting an Ikea shop out of hours. Loads of comfy sofas and Completely empty.

Best playground in any Airport. Way better than airports with many more passengers.

The perfect small airport. Security and check in was seamless. A good duty free. No options for a warm meal though. Be aware that the airport is far away from Aarhus city. A cab from the airport to the city costs anywhere between 750 DKK to 840 DKK (in the year 2022)

Update: had a flight cancellation with SAS. The airport staff was very helpful in arranging a hotel and cab

A well serviced airport with high quality facilities and friendly staff.
Busses to Aarhus run based on each flight that arrives and departs, cost 115DKK each way for an adult and take around 50 minutes.

Fastest I have ever gotten from entering the airport to duty free area, maybe 10min MAX. And staff was super nice, very kind and welcoming.
It’s new airport or renovated, but feels nice here. Also some great deals at Duty free :))

Cute little airport that recently got renovated.
Hopefully there are more international destinations soon.
