Billund Gastropub

Reasonably priced food of a high quality. The service was very personable and friendly for tourists.

The burgers and steak sandwiches looked incredible. I had the 500g fresh water prawns which was also great!

Food was good (and fast!) and delivered with friendly professional. The menu is a little bit lean for vegetarians, but than is a familiar story for much of Denmark.

The pizza, salmon salad, grilled vegetables and burger were delicious. In the kitchen you can find Emil 🤗, he is from Romania. He prepared these dishes with a lot of soul especially for us. If you arrive in Billund don’t miss it. I recommend this place! ❤

10 out of 10. Had dinner here with my family (two kids and two adults) and am so happy we ventured out of the so so food selection at Lego resorts. Excellent cocktails, delicious mains and we really enjoyed the cheesecake and chocolate cake for desert!

Great pub/restaurant at the heart of Billund. Bookings in advance are a must if you going in summer time. I went there twice and sat at the bar as tables themselves were fully booked. But being solo, I didn’t mind the bar; very friendly bartenders to keep you company. Food itself was delicious, tried the classic burger and fish & chips and both where great. Personally though I would say I preferred the burger. It’s a pub type restaurant so don’t expect massive selection, a few burger options, some other mains, salads and then just small plates. Of course, being a pub, their beer selection was great and enjoyed both beers recommended to me on tap. All and all, very satisfied and will definitely be back when I’m back in Billund again.

Came with a friend that lives nearby and the place was packed. Luckily we had a reserved table. The menu is very limited but excellent. You don't need more as it covers most tastes. The staff were positive all the time smiling and kept eye contact with everyone. The service is excellent, food portion and quality amazing and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I highly recommend Gastropub for Billund visits, just remember to call and reserve in good time.

A gift of an experience on this first ever trip to Billund- the birthplace and home of the LEGO Brick. Billund Gastropub embodies the Danish spirit of Hygge - not unlike Kokomo, it’s a place to be and a state of well being. Great selection of beers. My choice was the rich and delicious Jacobsen Brown Ale which paired perfectly with the Hakkebøf Med blød løg and roasted potatoes with herbs. Situated just a “brick’s” throw from LEGO House. If you come to Billund, do stop in to imbibe the libations served up by double barreled shaker Andreas the Bartender. The food and hospitality are equally amazing. The owner, Thomas, treats you special. Maria and Natasha are always ready with genuine disarming smiles that will sure to charm you back for repeat visits. Recommend the nightcap Galliano Hotshot and/or an Akvavit. Billund Gastropub is awesome!

Food is lovely, place is cozy

Great place for a family lunch - kid’s menu was a huge plus. Loved my grilled vegetables salad. It was better than expected!

Really good place to enjoy a beer with hamburger🍔🍺 I picked the gastro burger which was amazing. The side were fries. Really good choice! There is a nice terrace outside.

Cool place, spacious, both indoor and outdoor, nice staff. Bartender Pawel is professional, chattering with everyone, making cocktails but can advise about danish beer as well.

Very nice food and drinks. The meat on the steak sandwich was excellent. Real good fish on fish & chips. Service was super friendly. Prices are OK. Location very good, just outside the Legohouse.

Excellent cuisine downtown Billund.Very relaxing atmosphere and nice music. The gastro burger and the cheese cake are my recommendations.

Staff are super nice to kids, made us feel very welcome. Great food and drinks, looked after well after a long day at Legoland and Lego House.

Nice selection of food and drinks, great atmosphere and conveniently close to the LEGO House. We visited the place when there was a pub quiz going on that night, and we were invited to join (as foreigners). Had a lot of fun. Staff were super friendly and accommodating to children as well. Recommended.

After a couple of disappointments in Legoland and adjacent restaurants we were very positively impressed by a dinner at Billund Gastropub.

Our mussels were done to near perfection, side dishes were fine and the service & atmosphere were great. Furthermore the prices were surprisingly affordable in comparison to other places we visited during the days spent in Billund. All in all our dinner was easily both the best and cheapest we had.

Would recommend to anyone visiting the Lego House for an example. Actually, the next time we’ll visit Legoland, we’ll probably take the 15 minute walk to Gastropub for a lunch & beer instead of paying for an overpriced disappointment inside the amusement park.

Very good Caesar salad and a decent selection of beers. Service was on top, friendly and very responsive.
