Munkebo Kro

My wife and I loved staying in this charmingly olde worlde yet modern hotel. We were welcomed so warmly by Annette that we would have forgiven any imperfections. Our room, as well as the entire hotel, was immaculate, with beautiful views of the fjord. Breakfast was amazing. Described in the literature as a “continental breakfast,“ it was far more than that and very substantial, beautifully presented… white tablecloths and all. The staff here work very hard and the owners are quite gracious. Choosing this hotel just from online reviews while still at home in the United States, we felt very lucky to be here. We have found Denmark and the Danes to be amazing during our extended holiday here and Munkebo Kro lives up to a very high standard. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect, except of the prices which are Danish! You can't always get what you want!

The hotel is under Covid restrictions at time of visit, which meant reception service is understandably limited, whilst restaurant and bar facilities are closed. However the hotel has implemented ample procedures to help guests, providing a clean and comfortable room and a packed breakfast was provided each morning and other refreshments are available. Would love to return under normal circumstances.

Nice rooms, great spacious shower/bathroom.
The resturant has great food, therefor prices are a little higher, but well worth it.
The Soups they serve winter time is great, and you must try the whole roasted pig during summer time. 😎👍 top notch.

Well, I had my wedding party there and considering that I was almost comatosed with stress and pre-wedding problems and we survived and laughed and smiled through it, I would say they did great. I highly recommend them. I can't wait for summer to come back again, I have a thing for their pattegris. (it's a summer thing they do there)

Lovely place, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Decent food. Reasonable prices. Buses run every hour to the city of Odense, very convenient. Really enjoyed...

Fantastic experience for a birthday, beautifully decorated room. Immensely delicious food. I can't comment about the price sorry, I don't know, I was just a guest.
