Stranden Møns Klint

Hiking trail that we tried on a road trip from Germany to Denmark. It was a couple of hours detour but totally worth it. Mind the algae when going down to the beach. Free experience with added tourist shops and amenities. Also recommended to visit during daylight only as the road that connects the cliff is quite small and lacks lightning

Beautiful cliff. Very nice scenery. There are a lot of steps to walk up and down. The timber steps are very well maintained. Just take a slow walk down all the way, tired but worth it.

Really impressive stairway to the bottom of the coastline to get a magnificent view of the white rocks. Keep in mind that each step you take downwards you have to climb up afterwards. So be ready to be a bit exhausted afterwards.

Very beautiful. You need a sturdy pair of shoes to walk on this rocky beach to safe your ankle.

It’s really something. Bit difficult to comprehend that 120+m of cliff is made from something you can crumble with your hands :)

incredible cliff with a sandy beach and a possebility to find fossils in the sand or water. The way is a little steep.

Breathtakingly beautiful and impressive at the same time. A must visit. 992 steps (not 495) takes you down to the small beach. Several rest area's and seats along the stairs. Can be slippery when wet. Beach not much to speak about, but the cliffs can rival those of England.

Absolutely beautiful. Many stairs, but it's definitely worth it!

Jaw dropping moment

Die Klippen und das Panorama sind einfach nur atemberaubend. Man sollte sich aber gut überlegen, ob man die ca. 500 Stufen zum Strand `rauf und `runterläuft. Nichts für Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität. Der Strand unterhalb der Klippen ist sehr schmal und mit vielen groben Steinen durchsetzt. Das Panorama ist natürlich überwältigend, aber mir persönlich hat der Blick von oben auf die Ostsee besser gefallen.

Piękne miejsce , cisza , spokój , można odpocząć , bezpiecznie , oznaczenia bardzo dobre . Czas przejścia około 2 godzin na spokojnie , 500 schodów robi wrażenie i można się zmęczyć ale warto.

Beautiful place, quiet, calm, you can relax, safe, very good markings. Walking time is about 2 hours, 500 stairs are impressive and you can get tired but it's worth it

Sehr schöner Ort für einen Ausflug. Von oben hat man eine super Sicht auf das klare Wasser und von unten wirken die Klippen noch beeindruckender. Man findet am Wasser tolle Steine und kann dort mit den Kids etwas Zeit verbringen. Die Treppen rauf und runter sind eine Herausforderung, aber mit Pausen gut machbar.

Belle expérience, la descente des escaliers est vraiment sympa. On a l'impression de ne jamais arriver. Attention si vous souhaitez marcher sur la plage de galets en bas, à marée haute, il faudra parcourir une trentaine de mètres le long de la falaise, les jambes enfoncées jusqu'aux genoux dans une espèce de purée d'algues pourries et malodorantes🤢...et attention, l'odeur est tenace, après deux lavages successifs en machine, nos chaussures de plages sont encore imprégnées de cette odeur nauséabonde. 🤢🤢J'ai une pensée émue pour les personnes que nous avons croisées et qui faisaient la traversée avec leur chien, enfoncé jusqu'au cou.🐶 Bonjour l'odeur dans la voiture lors du retour.🤢🤢🤢.
Cela dit, c'est réellement impressionnant de se tenir au pied des falaises de craie, on se sent tout petit.

Tras una escalera bastante empinada de 400 y pico peldaños, con algunos miradores donde ya se aprecia la belleza del acantilado, llegas al mar y a su estrecha orilla con piedras. Según la marea, te tendrás que quitar el calzado si no quieres mojártelo. Se puede puede recorrer un tramo y subir por otras escaleras para poder observar su magnitud.

Wunderschön, allerdings Achtung alle Treppen durch Oktober Sturm zerstört, die Treppe bei geocenter führt bisher bis Plattform nicht bis zum Strand. Es ist auch viel zu gefährlich an den Klippen am Strand entlang zu laufen, da es sehr viele Abbrüche gab.

Prachtig strand, heel dun en heel veel mooie stenen, als je goed zoekt kun je hier fossielen vinden. Een aardige afdaling hiernaartoe en uiteraard dus een hele uitdaging om weer boven te komen.
Ook de kliffen hierboven zijn prachtig om hiervandaan over de Baltische Zee te kijken
Ben je in de buurt, Mons Klint niet overslaan! Mogelijk de mooiste plaats in Denemarken!
