Moen lighthouse

Maybe Denmark’s most interesting natural formations. We recommend to first walk the path from the parking near the old lighthouse, then along the stony beach to the white cliffs. The more adventurous ones might want to pass the narrow/wet paths to the man-made stairs up to the center. Alternatively go back to the parking and drive to the center. Walking down (and not least) up again the stairs to the sea is a proper exercise!

The lighthouse is private property run by Camp Mons Klint and rented as a vacation rental through their site.

It's a 3BR, 1.5 BA 2 story house that's literally part of the lighthouse tower though you can't access the tower itself. It's oceanfront with a private stairway to the beach, outdoor tables/chairs, and a detached sauna. Nicely appointed with full kitchen and linens and laundry in a detached building.

Der Leuchtturm ist Privatgelände. Wer nah heran möchte, hat die Möglichkeit in der dortigen Ferienunterkunft sich einzuquartieren.
Das Tolle an der Location ist der kleine, kostenfreie Parkplatz, der einen perfekten Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen an der Küste entlang bietet. Immer wieder fantastische Ausblicke von oben und mehrfache Treppenabgänge zur Küste. Diese sind anspruchsvoll, doch an Bänke wurde gedacht, so dass Pausen beim Auf- oder Abstieg eingelegt werden können.
Wer nicht die Treppe (Graryg Fald) nach oben laufen möchte, nimmt den Weg durch den Wald mit schönen Ausblick auf die Küste, steigt diese herab und läuft den Weg zurück an der Küste entlang. Die Strecke ist bis zum Parkplatz circa 5 km lang. Eine kleine, hübsche Wanderung, die sich auch gut mit kleineren Kindern machen lässt.

En fantastisk strand og en god oplevelse. Spændende at tage turen ned med reb til stranden og ikke stien i skoven.

Auf Moen ein sehr schöner Strand mit seinen weißen Kreidefelsen.Natur Pur und sehr schön.Am Kreidestrand findet man so einige schöne Fosillien.Es ist zu vergleichen mit Irland.

Immer eine gute Stelle für Hornhechte und Meerforellen

Wenn man Natur und Ruhe sucht gepaart mit Romantik ist das der Richtige Platz!
