Billund Airport (BLL)

Well designed airport. Great lighting solutions. Beautiful Christmas decorations. Good coffee. Fast Internet. Clean everywhere.

Quality service. Very kind staff, one even gave us a free sweet. The food at the restaurant was good, and, of course there had to be a Lego store, because it is in the home town of Lego. Expert piolets, very clean, because the staff effortlessly cleaned the place everyday. If you were going to Aarhus, or Esbjerg, then stop off here (I would recommend because its so reliable).

Small-to-medium airport to 16 gates, with duty-free, parking and good transport communications with nearest towns. Quite modern security system, passenger oriented.

A chill place to wait for planes :) it's a big airport giving you access to a lot of small Danish towns. When it's not the holiday season, the place is well below capacity. It does have all the facilities you expect of an international airport.

The Billund Airport it's a small and compact, very comfortable staying. Easy access everywhere, lot of facility inside and outside

I like this airport for travelling its very hassle free even if crowded. My international flight is at 10 AM and I reached at 9 AM, still no issues on timing and everything was done within 20 mins with the crowd, most of the time it’s not that crowded.

The only unusual thing that I experienced was that I had to show my passport to the authorities, even in a flight connection then I had to go through security again, I was lucky the airport was very small

The best airport in Europe, the people were very nice and you have smoking areas inside the airport, plus the fast food restaurant can give you beer on your meal instead of Coke.

One of the beautiful and largest airport in Central Denmark region. It's not a busy airport but it is very clean and beautiful well maintained airport. Public transport and taxi's are very convenient and easily accessible. amble of parking for private vehicles are available at the airport with automated parking system, you can book the parking lot through online or at the parking entrance through your credit card. there is a bus connecting the parking lot to the airport if you don't wish to walk. Also the self drive cars are available at the airport lounge.

Really nice, small but well thought out terminal building. Great little airport was pretty quiet as well when I came in & out through it.
Clean, tidy, good facilities. Staff all friendly too.
All in all a pretty good place to while away a few hours waiting for your flight. Lounge area worth it as well if you can?

I often fly in to Billund for business. This time, I was impressed with the new changes made to the arrival area. New scanners that make it faster and practical to have your passport checked and then move to collect your baggage. The trip from the plane to the exit takes a few minutes. It is a cosy and practical airport, I love it.

Very convenient airport. It is located arguably in the "middle of nowhere", but it still has plenty of connections to main European cities. The airport is tiny meaning that passing through security is a breeze and it does not require much time to transfer / get to the gates. Also, it is very modern and has great connections to the LegoLand resort (nearby) and Lalandia Waterpark. ☺☻

Not big but very comfortable airport. The baggage registration you have to do by your self. You haven't run long distances to gates. :)
Except duty free shops, the Lego shop there.

Great airport! Barely any people, so security goes very quickly. Free WI-FI, which was really helpful. Very organized airport, great food, 10 cabins for smokers, loads of shops with: alcohol, perfumes, groceries etc. Very good airport! 5 stars! Really recommend flying from this airport!

There are 16 gates, number 13-15 are for flights outside the EU.
Security was very efficient, there was no queue at all.

Only problems is that they do not sell flødeboller haha

There is a PCR test center with 2 hours results time. You can buy stuff like souvenirs, food, beverages, ... Staff is also friendly so very good experience overall, just don't expect cheap prices there.. There is also very good bus connection directly from airport and there is also a lot of parking space (not sure about prices).

Nice, small airport with good waiting area and friendly staff. May be a bit confusing to get around for the first time, but otherwise really straightforward. Has a few restaurants, not a wide selection but enough to find what you are looking for. Has a good connections by bus.
