Museum Østjylland - Grenaa

Very interesting museum, definitely worth a visit tells the story about Østjylland and the local town Grenå. The building it self is stunning and very well maintained.

Walked in by accident, but what a great museum! Free entrance, wheelchair friendly, for every age. A great collection in a challenging building. Learned a lot about the history of this area. Highly recommend to come for a visit.

Very unexpected success! A small and slightly hidden museum with beautiful exhibitions on the history of the area from the stone age till modern times. The guy behind the desk was very friendly and willing to explain everything. The entrance is for free, so no reason to not visit it when you are in the area!

Very interestind for kids and adults, and free entry! The man working there was very helpful and nice. Would recommend to everyone!

The museum tells the story of the region in three different contexts - the ocean, the chalk and the soil. The story reaches back to the ice age, and builds contexts for each thing that's shown - how did the exploration of chalk deposits lead to a surge in missionary preachers? Why does Grenaa's sign look the way out does? It's all explained, simple and easy.

The museum is top-class for accessibility and design. English-language audio guides and sign-boards are also present.

Great little museum about 7000+ years of Nord Djursland's history. Interactive, creative, multimedia and kid friendly. And free entry as well!

New museum really nice. A lot crammed in, but in a good way. Nice use of technology. Loved the digital book shelf!

This place is a gem! Lots of information about the area, things to see and little activities for the kids. Definitely a go-to place if you are in the area.

Virkelig et besøg værd!! Stort legeområde for børn, super spændende (og rørende!) udstillinger, interaktive områder og masser af ting at trykke på og lytte til, super venlig og snakkesalig museumsmedarbejder...og så er entreen gratis!! Varme anbefalinger her fra!

Eintritt ist kostenfrei...wenn man grad in der Nähe, kann man auch reingehen. War ganz schön anzuschauen...

Rigtig dejligt lokal museum, med en flot og interessant udstilling. Særudstillingen om besættelsen var også både rørende og beskrivende. Emnet om de tyske flygtninges levevilkår efter krigen, kunne være en interessant vinkel at dykke mere ind i og lave mere om.
Vi fik brugt næsten 2 timer i museet og blev kloge på Grenå og Djurslands historie, og så var det ganske gratis.

Det er et hyggeligt lille museum og bedst af alt. Det er gratis. Det er ikke så stort men der er meget at lære. Og personalet er meget villige til at fortælle mere. Både om bygning og hvad de har. Som sagt er det gratis så køb lige en lille ting. Det hjælper dem helt enormt meget

Super fedt sted, go service, mega skægt og se hvor meget man gør ud af og bevare noget der er sjovt, og sket for flere år siden, ungerne og vi voksne hyggede os mega meget 😀

Prachtig gebouw, geweldig vriendelijke mensen. Onze hond mocht op de binnenplaats wachten! Leuke collectie en heel gevarieerd.. Niet te groot, blijft zo boeiend. Zeker leuk voor kinderen, veel digitaal en zelf doen. Midden in het centrum, gratis parkeren en gratis entree
