Cute little place, though not big, but thanks to the events throughout the day, the many good seating and outdoor areas, and the surprisingly good canteen, you can definitely spend a day here. The giftshop is also pretty cool.

Our children love this aquarium.
They enjoy penguins, sting-rays (which you can glide if you are lucky), Nemos and Dorrys 🙂 and soft toys inside 🙂
They have a cafe with solid food options.
You can save a bit if you buy your tickets online.

Nice aquarium at the ocean. You only need 1-2 hours to go through it. Your kids can also touch some of the fish. So it’s really cool for them.

Very nice, perfect for a family tour with kids to look around and to snack some food, wonderful themed playground (outdoor so bring appropriate clothing)

Nice aquarium, lots of sea creatures. We saw the shark feeding and training and also the seals. Great playground for the kids outside. Parking is only 25DKK for a day. Kids and seniors have special entry prices.

I appreciated that the museum was in 3 languages incld. English, German and Danish. It is a small aquarium in comparison to others that I visited but was well presented and maintained. It has a nice shark tank, a small tunnel and a nice introduction about shark features, the penguin's area is really nice and in general the museum displayed its information in a fun way. The highlight was the seal feeding.

Good size place with alot of fish, good size sharks as well, also a shark tunnel.
Some fun for the kids but only if low amount of people there, if alot Im afraid with the few things for kids there will be line at those.
Resteurant food was decent, prices in the cheap end when it comes to inside resteurants.
We where there a sunday, was only few people so we had a great time.

Such a lovely experience! The staff was nice and i found out, i have weird love for stingrays.

They have decent parking however the spots are kinda small for big cars. The price is a bit steep too but its still worth it. If you wanna learn stuff about the cute flappy pancakes then this is the place for you.

There are so many fun things to do for the kids. Touching fish and holding crabs and what not.

Great family day out, also good active day out if the weather is rainy. Informative, engaging and enjoyable with a lot of fish species and sea creatures to observe. Shark, fish and seal feeding sessions throughout the day. Nice sea creatures themed outdoor playground. The food was OK, though not great. Certainly worth a visit if you’re spending time in the chilled out Djursland peninsula.

Visited Kattegattcentrum on our way from Legoland to Halmstad. We, including a four year old, really enjoyed looking at the sharks, the penguins and the stingrays. He had fun fishing crabs as well. While small, it was really nice. There is a cafe inside with ice cream and a nice shop.

An amazing learning experience! We visited and spent the night in the tunnel under the shark tank.

For the price of our ticket we received three meals, a guided tour, we got to dissect a squid which we later used to feed sharks and rays, (which was both terrific and terrifying), and we got free entry for a year.

Amazing bang for your bucks! 9/10 would absolutely do this again 😃
