Anholt Camping

Fantastic tent camping site. Very good conditions for primitive camping. The tent sites are parallel to the asphalt road and small trees give some sun protection (the caravans are closer to the beach and typically located in the sand). The ground is grass, cut and soft. Tent pegs go in easily. There are no designated areas - you just pick a spot at least 3m from other tents. It is 100m from a beach, but the beach is not perfect. You have to walk a few km to Nordenstrand which is perfect for bathing and swimming. In the house with facilities there are 2 stoves for heating food. The site is located 500m from the harbor where there is a number of restaurants, eateries, bars, beach bars etc. Almost southern European vibe. The camp site has a small grocery store, but it closes rather early.

More of a mood than a place, swept by the endless winds that cradle Anholt. The oldest toilet scrawlings I saw were from the 1980s; like the wind and the sea, it feels like this place has always been here, and always will be. Some ppl have complained about the rickety facilities, but to me they were more basic & adequate. The minute modernity's allowed in, the ageless charm will be struck dead. I suspect the owner well knows this. (A nice amendment to this rule is the room where ppl are allowed to charge their electrical appliances. You'd think it a staple of modern camping sites, but in my experience it's extremely rare.)

Part of the charm lies in the clientele. The island is out-of-the-way enough that it attracts out-of-wider-society's-way kind of ppl. Not everyone is a hippie, but a free spirit generally prevails. Partake in it while it lasts; such ppl and places are on the fast track to oblivion, as instant consumer culture marches on.

Sikke en flot placering, gør dig selv en tjeneste, kravl op på bakken, Nordberg og nyd solnedgangen, den ses ikke bedre i Danmark 🌞

Rigtig fint sted med udsigt over vandet. Underlagt er strandsand det er som at holde ude på stranden. 👍😎 fine faciliteter bad wc køkken og fælles rum.

Man kommer næppe tættere på havet, vi havde lejet en hytte, meget veludstyret og pænt rent. Kan anbefales 😇⚓🤽‍♀

Bardzo przyjemne urocze miejsce na długi i krótki pobyt.
Blisko morza sklepik dość ubogi ale jest wszystko co potrzeba ceny jak na lądowej części Danii.
Ważnym elementem pobytu jest to iż prysznice są gratis i woda jest zawsze gorąca delikatnym minusem jest brak "publicznych" naczyń i garnków jak dla mnie który byłem tam na 2 noce i nie miałem tych rzeczy ze sobą był to problem - ale rozumiem COVID19-
Ubikacje czyste środki łatwo i powszechnie dostępne woda również

Rigtig fin campingplads med masser af plads både mellem træer eller på stranden. Gode toiletforhold med mulighed for bad.
