Hjerting Badehotel

Great location of a stunning part of the west coast of Denmark. Excellent service and location of the restaurant with a stunning view of the ocean. The restaurant was in my opinion overpriced and the service didn’t live up to the settings and my expectations. Beautiful rooms!

Lovely hotel with a delicious breakfast (best bacon I've had in a very long time!) and two restaurants serving elevated but not pretentious food. We stayed in one of their suites and enjoyed the room very much. Everything was in great condition and the floor heating in the bathroom was a nice surprise.

Wonderful location, friendly service and traditional Danish food of high quality.

Really a truly wonderful hotel the rooms are light and airy like a Krøyer painting. We had a room overlooking the sea and the light was incredible.

Cozy cafe with plenty of seating and nice outside terrace! Warm and welcoming Scandinavian interior and friendly service. Good Espresso and, as a must have, definitely the Danish Christmas style cake with cherries and cookie crumble dough!

Ohhhhhh that is an amazing hotel. The rooms are so Nice. The view is great.

But the best of it all is 5 stars restaurant. It’s the best Fuc?&$ fish in chips I had in my life.

You absolutly need to reserved to eat there.

Thw breakfast is great

Have eaten here a few times. It is a lovely setting with very nice food. A really nice idea they have is binoculars on the window ledges along with a card explaining what you can see across the water.
This was my first time staying in the hotel and I found it to be an excellent experience. Rooms are compact but comfortable with big windows and homey furniture/accessories.
We had breakfast included with our stay and it was very nicely done.
If you have a nice day (or the right clothes for a windy day) take a walk along the beach promenade and work up your appetite a little!
I would definitely recommend Hjerting Badehotel. It’s also a terrific base for exploring the area.

Such a lovely place with the greatest, and most beautiful, view - so peacefull. We loved being at the brasserie/shipp-in resaturant - we were taken good care of and the food was excellent, so tasty! Specially the "rød grød" was stunning 😊 Yesterday we invited our family out there for dinner, and they also loved it, and they'll recommend the wienerschnitzel 👌

Sleek and modern design with comfortable rooms and a real sense of the sea. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment at the moment but the building work does not detract from the hotel's potential . Great breakfast and dinner options combined with warm and friendly service just adds to the appeal.

It’s a very cozy hotel. Room is clean. Sea view is very beautiful when the weather is nice. Breakfast was nice, dinner ( steak) in the hotel restaurant was very delicious!

Hjerting Badehotel is situated on the seafront in Hjerting appr. 5 miles from Esbjerg. It is very stylishly decorated throughout. The rooms are light and cheery, with comfortable beds, good sized wardrobe, smart bathroom and minibar. Some of groundfloor rooms on the seafront side have a small outside seating area complete with a sunlounger. The Hotel has a fine dining restaurant and a pub. There is also comfortable drawing room for hotel guests. Furthermore there are spa facilities, fitness room and sauna and rental bikes. The breakfast is outstanding offering a wide choice of foods. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the whole place is spotlessly clean. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Hjerting Badehotel.

I needed some help with checking out the place for future guests, and the staff was nothing but courteous. The location is fantastic (though the weather was gray while I visited) and the halls and restaurant (Ship Inn) look amazing.

It is very clean and the beds are quite comfortable. The view is fantastic. Excellent food at the Ships Inn restaurant attached to the hotel.
