Wonderful quaint old farm/inn, in beautiful surroundings. I was invited for lunch and enjoyed some nice Danish open sandwiches "smørrebrød", it was very nice.

An original river-inn, where food and drink has been served since river barges transported goods up and down the Jutland waterways, the original spirit still prevail. The food is classic danish dishes, of high quality and at fair prices, combined with a nice selection of beer and spirits. Many local brands you don't see everyday.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing views to the Gudenae Riverside.
We order the Stjerneskud (Pan Fried Fish with Lemon Shrimps), the Wienerschnitzel and the Pramgradergryde (Pork Stew with Bacon, Gravy and Butter Potatoes) and I have to say that the food was amazing.
It was a very nice experience having our dinner in the terrace as it was a Sunny day and we had the chance to see swans and ducks in the river.
Is also well worthed to have a look at the inside living rooms on the restaurant. It is and old house (from the XVIII Century) with a lot of interesting furniture and things to see.
It's like eating in a Museum.
They also have very nice beer 😋🍻

What a fantastic historical hotel, set in some of Denmark's most beautiful countryside. The food was excellent, from breakfast to supper, with so much bring either grown themselves or sourced locally.
The open sandwiches were a particular highlight, as was the home made akavit.
Friendly cheerful staff who all obviously enjoyed working there, clean comfortable rooms, calm, peaceful... excellent.

The old inn is a wonderful place with a lot of atmosphere she character. We had a room for a night, and the place was so cozy and charming. Breakfast in their restaurant the morning after also didn't disappoint, and the staff was really friendly and helpful during our stay.

A very traditional danish hotel/inn with lots of history associated to it. I enjoyed the ambience more than the food., and the staffs were very friendly.

A typical Danish restaurant located in an old farm (I believe). We had a delicious meal. Staff very friendly, in particular our French speaking waiter! Very child friendly with outside playground and sandbox.

Wow what a place! From the moment you drive into the carpark you realise that you have arrived at a special place. Traditional thatched long builds surround a small cobbled courtyard. Inside is just as traditional Danish. Period features fill the rooms with a old fashioned cash machine still used. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the view across the river. The food was delicious served by friendly staff happy to converse in English or Danish. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location with sunrise visible from the rooms facing the stream. Can recommend coming here by canoe FROM Silkeborg (2h, 600DKK). Perfect, old style service like the rooms. Thanks so much!

Very cosy inn with a fantastic position next to the river - and delicious "æggekage" and "æblekage" and good coffee as well as alcohol-free beer. And afterwards a lovely stroll along the river path. Our first visit but definitely not the last 😀

I went to this restaurant with my husband and in addition to the wonderful food we also had a wonderful experience. The story of this place is special! And that story was told to us by the friendly staff. This was my best experience in Denmark!

Great lunch, "Pariser Bøf" and "Stjerneskud" are highly recommendable. Great atmosphere, with lots of antique furniture and vibes of the past. Friendly and helpful staff.

The place is beautiful! I went on the Christmas period and they have traditional danish decorations arround, it looks so pretty. The food was delicious and the service great.

Exceptional location near the river. Very quaint with good food. Staff was friendly and helpful although we had to wait a bit for the food. Can definitely recommend.

Fantastic place. Cozy, old-danish antic, excellent food and wonderfully friendly service. You simply must visit it.
