A wonderful place. We liked the reception at the entrance the surroundings of the place, the children's playground, the mine, the factory and of course the delicious and beautiful food served in the small restaurant. There is enough space for a picnic. The beer is delicious🍺. Thanks for everything

Marvelous experience! There aren't many opportunities to go inside a mine, much less a dog-friendly one. Our dog loved it. This mine is home for bats (which weren't there when we visited), so there's a bat-themed playground for kids outside. Entrance to the mine + museum costs DKK 100 for adults, dogs don't pay. It's a mine and it's obviously dark, so if you plan ahead take a lamp (you can also buy mini lamps when you buy your ticket). In the museum you can learn about the Limestone Factory, almost every sign has English translation. There's also very interesting information about different kinds of bats.

Great place to spend 3-4 hours with the family. Friendly staff, descriptions in Danish, English and German. The caves are fantastic and there is a playground and museum too. Parking lot is free. Bring a jacket since temperature inside the caves is low

It's great place, and photo speaks more than words. For decent price you get history overview and accessible and illuminated path to follow and take nice pictures. Just make sure to take:
- good flashlight (in case you want to discover hidden caves from main path)
- tracking shoes and clouds for 8°C.

Absolutely AMAZING place. Can't believe I haven't been before now. Sooo cool. Nice paths but also possible to go exploring by yourself. Bring a flashlight 🔦!! We spend 1-1.5hours there

Incredible place, very funny and interesting. Sad that I didn’t see any bat 🦇, but is okay because the place is big, beautiful and peaceful. I really enjoyed my time there!

A great place the largest limestone cave in Europe. Bring good shoes because there is loose stones and steep places. And don't forget your flash light since the lightning is not perfect everywhere so good to have your own light so you can light up small caves etc. Eat before hand or after since the cafe is not that good.

A must visit place if you are in jutland denmark. It's a historical mine as well as a place where you can spend a whole day with you family.

This was our third time visut at this place. And we have to say- in 4 years it has changed a lot. I mean a LOT. They have a new parking spot now. The entrance has changed location. All infrastructure arounf kalkgrube id on next level. More picnick places. Last tume we were around Halloween time and there was special quizz for kids when they enter thr caves. And atmisphere was amazing. I will for sure come here again and again on different times of the year

It's a really nice place for kids and grown ups to go exploring.

We upgraded to a season ticket - remember to take a torch to see the full glory - and to have a sweater unless you really like the cool temperature in the caves - and don't forget to taste some of the cheese. And visit the energy museum if you stay in the area

Lovely place :) fan of Dune, i saw Sietch Tabr & water collecting rooms. Or a scene set for Indiana Jones’ new adventure :)

Very interesting museum and great experience

Excellent - great network of tunnels and caves with lots of freedom to explore. Very good 15 min audio visual presentation projected onto mine walls. Didn't bother with optional train ride - only about a 2 min walk. Unfortunately no bats when we visited. Take a good torch if you can to show up all the areas, and wear sturdy shoes.

Wonderful trip! Was amazed by how big the cave system was! Wonderful movie screen displayed inside the cave with projectors on the walls. Can highly recommend

Fantastic experience walking around the limestone mines. There are many paths to take, some easier and well lit, and others where a torch and good shoes are helpful!

Great place to spend a couple of hours. The train will take you in 5 minutes to the Endstation in the mine where its a chilling 8 degrees. You may wander in the mine all that you like, Wich leaves you with a very adventurous feeling! The restoration of the factory is very well done.
