Nice and roomy tent spots for longer stays. Great facilities, very clean and focussed on sustainability. Fresh bread can be ordered beforehand and picked up every morning. Friendly staff who know many languages.

Beautiful location, we got a great secluded space for our Jeep + roof tent, and the pastries & rolls in the morning were delicious. My bf and I watched the sunset go down over the North Sea from the campgrounds - it was truly lovely! Also I appreciated that there are bathrooms with just one toilet & shower where you can lock the door. We'll be coming back one day for sure :)

Very nice camping! Amazing location for exploring Rømo, Ribe and Viking Center. Pitches are large and comfortable with hedges protecting from wind. Sanitary facilities nice and clean. Bread service in the morning was just great 😋 you can order bread and cinnamon buns in an app or at the reception. Kids appreciated the playground with a big jumping pillow and go-carts.

A very nice camping with some nice places. The owner speaks 5 languages (incl. Danish, Dutch, German and English). The toilets and showers are big and very clean. Prices are absolutely good for what you get. There's bread service in the morning and pizza in the evening if you ask in time. Would definitely recommend this place 10/10!

2 people + dog + tent + car. Very happy :)
Dog / pet friendly camping.
Main toilet/shower/dishes area very good.
Having car next to the tent was super convinient + it was a stable hook off point for the dog.
Hedges look great + give shade which was extra important for the dog.
One downside was distance to the beach with walking by the fast road (our dog was scared of the cars).
On a plus side, small dog park / enclosed area is part of the camp site - which was super great for our dog to run!!
We dont have kids but kids area looked amazing.

Great campsite with wonderful facilities. Even had some cooking appliances and a fridge! Flat sheltered pitches, lots of stuff for kids if you are family, but easy to camp away from children's park if you want peace and quiet. Pretty pricey overall but we were happy to spend it to get a good campsite.

I could not ask for better hosts. While on long journey on a bicycle along the North sea route i pulled in with my 5th flat tire in 6 days. The hosts called their Dutch friend who runs a cycle rental shop in Romo. He drove 20 km to bring me a new tire and tube just like an old time doctor making a house call but with a nominal fee. Also the hosts only charged 100 kroners for bicyclists with tents because they use fewer resources. They did all this with a gracious and helpful attitude. So if you want a campsite that is clean quiet where you are made to feel welcome stop in at Ballum camping.

I went with my bike and stayed for two nights in a tent. This is a good place to relax. Clean facilities, friendly host and beautiful place

Super Camping

Ich fand den Platz sehr schön. Der platz war sauber auch die sanitären Anlagen. Für das Wetter konnte niemand etwas. Vorallem ist der platz auch schön ruhig .Die Betreiber sehr nett,freundlich und für fragen immer offen.
Wir kommen gern wieder bei schönem Wetter.
Ich habe mich wirklich willkommen gefühlt und das habe ich nicht oft. Danke

Wir (Paar Ü50 mit 2 Hunden) waren das zweite Mal auf diesem Campingplatz. Beim ersten Mal wurde er noch von einem anderen Betreiber geführt und war in einem schlechteren Zustand. Wir waren absolut positiv überrascht, wie schön der Campingplatz nun ist!!! Sehr saubere WC´s und Duschen, tolles Freizeitangebot, das Geschirr kann man für umsonst im Geschirrspüler reinigen und XL Plätze! Spät Abends und Nachts kein Lärm und einen tollen Freilauf für Hunde. Was will man mehr ?!?!?

Prima en rustige camping, fijne en behulpzame eigenaren. Heerlijke broodjesservice (te bestellen via een handige app) en alles netjes voor elkaar. Ideaal voor wie rust, natuur en ruimte zoekt. Wij hebben er in september ruim een week gestaan en hebben genoten.
