Google tell me that today was the third time being here even though I am from Hungary. I simply love this place, it is such a wonderful setting and the pancakes are so much different and what I usually eat. The staff is very friendly. If you can, book in advanced the reastaurant tends to be full every time I have been there.

Excellent pancake restaurant.
The pancakes are, what I would call, Dutch style pancakes so nice and thick. There’s plenty of extra “toppings” to choose from and they’re baked into the pancakes rather than put on top which I appreciate. This way nothing can fall off and every bite has extra stuff in it. Good beer selection and a great play area for (young) kids.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The decor was also a lot more inviting and cozy than other restaurants in the area. All in all a very good experience. Highly recommended, with or without kids.

Price wise it’s alright. Not cheap but not expensive either (for Danish standards). We had two adult pancakes with toppings, 4 plain kids pancakes and 4 large drinks and that came to 566 kr/€76/$83 (conversion at time of writing this).

The size of the pancakes is perhaps a bit smaller than you’d expect. An adult large one is the size of a normal dinner plate. A kids one is quite small, about the size of a children’s breakfast plate. Our kids both needed a second one. They are considerably cheaper than even the small adult one so two kids pancakes are perhaps still cheaper than one small plain adults one.

Great place with good ambiance. Variety of delicious pancakes, including good options for kids.
There is a Peacock / Turkey farm right next to it, so don’t be surprised if you see Peacock’s walking around when you are dining.
With lake in front it offers a good view and outdoor / indoor playing area for kids.
P.S : Indoor playing area was closed due to Covid and remember to make a reservation if you wanna dine. Its a popular place.

Excellent experience, great food og drinks. I ordered a pancake which is anything from what I expected. With the looks of an omelette, it was a nice twist with a thick american like pancake.

You will never find better pancakes in the whole universe

Fantastic restaurant with original pancake toppings. Very good quality. They know how to cook. Nice place at the lake, a good place to go with kids.

Very authentic and cosy restaurant. We had a nice walk around the lake and spend some time afterwards playing cards along with the food served inside the restaurant. They also have a quite impressive selection of beer.

Lovely place tucked away next to a beautiful lake. Really lovely food with some great flavour combinations as well as the more traditional. Lovely selection of beer too!
Very friendly and helpful staff (all of whom speak excellent English for those travellers who are not fluent in Danish).
Great facilities for kids - indoor soft-play and outdoor play park on the beach means they can run off and play while the adults relax.

Delicious and authentic dutch pancakes. It's a beautiful place, right next to a lake where you can bathe and take a walk around and look at the nature. There is a playground for kids, and things on the menu for kids as well. A great place to bring your family.

An oasis with great lake view, pancakes of generous portions and friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful experience, would certainly return.

Simply just love this place. The pancakes are just so delicious and the surroundings are so cozy and very comfy. I love that there animals walk around the customers when you are sitting outside, and then the view to Kvie sø is so pretty and joyful.

This is a cozy place worth driving to. There is a wonderful little lake that you can walk around, and the restaurant has a beautiful view of it.

The food is really good, and you get portions that are very fair for the price.

The service is very friendly, and there is a good energy here.

There are good options as a vegetarian too.

Beautiful place next to a calm lake and cozy atmosphere. Best for spending a quality afternoon with friends or family.

What a lovely place, food was excellent as was the service after having a nice walk around the beautiful lake with the dogs. Look forward to another visit next time I'm in Denmark

Clean, good toilets, excellent pancakes and the staff was kind. The playroom for children was so great, cant recommend it enough.
