A Taste of Britain

By chance, my life led me to walk by this store on a regular basis. They have a good selection of regular and seasonal British items. The shop is quaint and the woman who works there is very kind to me and my daughter. Even if my daughter isn't at the shop with me, she knows where I've been when I show her the Freddo I picked up.

I may not be in the area that often anymore but when I am in Frankfurt, I always check their website to see if they're open that day.

I travel up from Heidelberg to vist this shop as often as I can. For a little shop they have loads of British 'must haves', there is a lovely choice of easter and xmas goodies too. Very friendly owners and....see you tomorrow 😊🇬🇧🏴??????

The store offers a lot of British products and i find the prices are very fair...my enquiry per Email about products in store was answered quickly and it was also possible to Place an order to ensure that my 50km journey was a happy one.....they speak German and English and i can recommend them very highly......very reliable.....i for one appreciate the work and Service..

The first time I wanted to go here I walked straight past it, as it's very small. Although it's small there is a very good selection of British food such as confectionery, tea and meat. It's a bit pricey compared to the British shop in Heidelberg but it's fairly convenient as it's close to Eschenheimer Tor.

Friendly people and essential UK foods that are impossible to get anywhere else in Frankfurt.You want real bacon and sausages, crumpets, sausage rolls etc?Only here.Plus a great assortment of teas, chocolates, condiments and even UK beer you can't find elsewhere.Don't see what you're looking for just ask they can probably get it for you.

A small shop for the POME,'s here's a friendly little place offering such ingredients that you'll find hard to get anywhere else, Golden Syrup, for example, shortbread the original Scottish style, various teas , and here's a highlight Rice bubbles, but be aware that Britain is no longer apart of the EU community,and certain products, that are imported and have a higher tariff making the product more expensive than normal. , Remember for quality there's always a price. Truely a great little shop.not far from the Escherheim, or the Grüneburgweg U -bahn stations.

Three decades ago, I spent two years in England. I regularly miss certain food items and "A Taste of Britain" is where to find them.

5 Star treatment every time. Price naturally a bit higher than 'at home' and the Brexit increase is a bit annoying, but it is not the shop's fault! Frankfurt is a better place for 'A Taste of Britain'.

Great range of products at very affordable prices and very friendly owners. I'd thoroughly recommend A Taste of Britain to expats and locals alike.

Considering brexit and such, prices are extremely good. Will definitely go back again if I'm wanting any British goods.
