Café Calma

Very cozy warm restaurant for breakfast/brunch. Decent portions with reasonable prices. The decorations inside were nice and lovely. The food was awesome. The steak in Englishes Frühstück was tender and so tasty. The employee was caring and friendly. After the brunch, we are too full to have dinner 😎

Breakfast was excellent. Kutter menu 10 points out of 5!! English breakfast 10 points out of 5. Reservation for bigger groups might be required. Sitting inside is more attractive interior. Meal decorating never seen before. Real old school European flair. Highly recommended.

Fantastic breakfast! The portion is very big, so if you are small eater or on diet, pls share! The large portion of eggs in description is definitely enough for 2 to share. The waitresses are all very nice and service is fast. Hot chocolate was OK though. Worth to try!

Loved it! I don’t have a huge appetite so I was scared a bit by the menu, with most items from 10-22 euros. However, there are fish brötchens for 4-5 euros, and I got a really great “belegt brot” (half a roll with smoked salmon) for 4 euros. Presentation was beautiful, including an edible flower. Fish soup is also great and reasonable at 8 euros.

With excellent service and outdoor tables on a really fun street, I will definitely be back.

Cozy, nice staff, 5-star experience. Food is very tasty and fresh homemade. Ideal for those who’d like to spend a long weekend morning well.

WENT there TODAY 2/15/2014 AWESSSSSSSSSSSSSSOME !!!! Totally recommend it, we stumbled on whilst looking for something to eat. From the time we stepped into the place and left we were totally stoked!! Da food was amazing…PIZZA O-mY god!!! We had calamari’s for starters…AWESOME. And then ...DUCK with Salad and Reine PIZZA on a Rice paper base PIZZA god dam awesome… .finished off by Apple strudel and ice-cream and whipped cream and you get the picture AWESOME…!! WE will be going back again for sure, it’s worth the drive from Hamburg were our boat is currently in yard refit. There were 3 of us and we ate like kings and left like queens. We Hail from Australia and New Zealand and THIS was the B&mb!!!! OH toilets clean and place is sooo cozy with candles and metal stuff on the walls and had a Moroccan feel about it …and it felt as if you were back in time like knights eating around a table with your armor and stuff and drinking a good BEER or two with your meal. Lots of leg room and just AWESOME!!! YEAH the Manager was awesome and talked to us in his best English which was better than my best German  and he was a funny jokey guy too, and all the waitresses were very friendly and cool too 

Excellent food! We ordered fish&chips and the whole plate presentation was a masterpiece. And it was delicious. Highly recommended!!!

We definitely love it, the cafe/restaurant has a familial vibe to it and the lady working there was super nice and welcoming

Ich war total begeistert! Das Beste Frühstück, das ich je bestellt habe, aufmerksames Personal, Preis/Leistung passt, gemütliches Ambiente obwohl es sehr voll war.

Die Vielfalt der Frühstücke ist beeindruckend und verlockend. Man sollte bei weiteren Besuchen die Karte rauf und runter abfuttern. Dazu ist das Lokal von einem originellen, sehr ansprechenden Ambiente

Super leckeres Essen, netter Service und total gemütlich. Empfehlenswert zum Frühstücken oder für eine kleine Stärkung!

boah ich bin so beeindruckt, habe lange kein so schönes Frühstück (Ranger) in so charmanter Umgebung gegessen... so lecker, liebevoll angerichtet, nette Bedienung, urisches Cafe (tolle Deko), also ich komme gerne wieder ;-)❤❤❤

Ein gemütliches Café mit super nettem Service und unglaublich leckerem Frühstück. Und es gibt nicht nur die Standardfrühstücke, sondern auch ausgefalleneres. Wenn wir das nächste Mal in Lübeck sind ist ein Besuch im Café Calma fest eingeplant.
