We were very happy with our choice of hotel in Mettlach. By the amenities that were at our disposal in the room, you know that you have booked a room with people who are professionals. The breakfast on the outdoor terrace was perfect with quality products. We hope to be back soon! Highly recommended.

We (couple 50+) stayed here for 5 days and enjoyed the lovely room, the great view and the bathroom with the giraffes on the wall! We didn't have to sit on the bed to watch TV, there were 2 big chairs to relax in.
We loved the attention to detail. There were extra pillows in different sizes, sanitary napkins, a sowing kit, ear plugs etc. We could make coffee/tea in our own room, or take a drink from the fridge in the guest sitting room.
Breakfast was great, a wide variety of bread, cereal, fresh fruit and eggs.
We felt right at home.

We stayed one night on a motorcycling holiday. The rooms were great and peaceful but the thing that most impressed me was the staff. We were welcomed into the hotel and nothing was too much bother. A garage was provided for the bikes. Although Monday was rest day for the restaurant, a typed letter arrived at the room advising where to eat. At breakfast there was a written personal "good morning" at our breakfast table and the breakfast lady was delightful - friendly and nothing too much trouble. If in the area again, I should not hesitate to stay again.
The town itself was interesting too and pleasant to walk around. The lock gates on the Saar are worth a look.

Hotel/rooms were clean, rooms were quiet, staff were helpful/friendly, check in/out was easy, bags stored on checkout until flight no problem.

Breakfast was good with a fair bit of choice and plenty of tea/coffee served to the table.

Balcony to enjoy a evening beverage on with 2 Euro beers available from the fridge in the lounge.

Overall the price seems fair for the type of hotel.

Lovely family hotel. They have themed rooms. Stayed it the gym room. Breakfast was great. It is a bio hotel, unfortunately this is not advertised enough. You get bio breakfast and have bio cosmetics in the bathroom. Can recommend it.

The very personal service touches provided by Haus Schons, accompanied by large elegant and comfortable double room overlooking the water, and large well appointed shower/bathroom gave us the sense of being more than just ‘passing through’ one-night stand visitors, which we were. Outstanding location to Mettlach shops and outlets contributed to our high recommendation.

Good budget German Hotel. Located near downtown Mettlach, but private and quiet. Delicious breakfast included. Free car parking and WIFI. Beautiful mural of old Mettlach in dining room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Real German gemuetlichkeit. Nice view of the Saar from room. German hotels have a price sweet spot. Usually paying more for the room means that breakfast, car parking, and internet access is extra. These are all included in the Schons rate. Try it. You will like it.

Die Zimmer waren sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Das Personal war stets freundlich und um das Wohlergehen des Gastes bemüht. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Traditionelles Familienhotel, direkt an der Saar, leider auch an einer belebten Hauptstraße (Fenster zu, dann ist Ruhe). Die Zimmer und Bäder sind renoviert, modernisiert und ansprechend ausgestattet. Für einen Kurzurlaub oder auch nur eine Übernachtung ideal. Der "Clubraum" wird wohl in den nächsten Tagen / Wochen weiter renoviert, da steckt durchaus noch Potenzial drin. Das Frühstücksbüffet hat alles geboten für einen guten Start in den Tag. Das Hotel steht definitiv auf meiner "Merkliste" für weitere Besuche.

Was möchte man vieles schreiben wenn alles gepasst hat und wir sehr Wahrscheinlich wieder kommen werden. Das Familien geführte Hotel von Angelika Hießerich-Peter hinterlässt einen sehr angenehmen Eindruck an dem auch das zuvorkommende Personal Teilnahme hat.

Ein schönes Hotel mit sehr viel liebe zum Detail. Zimmer und Dusche sehr sauber und großräumig. Personal war sehr freundlich und nett. Frühstück ließ keinen Wunsch offen. Das Asiatische Restaurant im Hause war der Hammer.

Individuell eingerichtete Zimmer, Bio Produkte auf dem Frühstückbuffet, mal andere Brötchen als "von der Stange", tolles Brot und guter Service. Idealer Standort für Wandertouren.

Ein kleines aber sehr feines Hotel, das ich immer wieder gerne buchen werde. Ein Beispiel: wir bewohnten das "Fitness-Zimmer". Bei der Einrichtung und der Dekoration dieses Zimmers wurde wirklich alles auf das Thema Fitness abgestimmt. Diese Kleinigkeiten haben uns begeistert. Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter sowie das Frühstück haben uns voll und ganz begeistert.

Angenehmes Haus, neu und einfallsreich renovierte Zimmer. Tolles Bad. Gutes Frühstück entweder auf der Terrasse oder einem hellen Raum. Vielseitiges Frühstück. Toller Service.
Exzellentes China-Restaurant separat im gleichen Gebäude.

Ein kleines Hotel mit schön eingerichteten Zimmern und einer sehr netten Rezeption. Man legt Wert auf das Detail. Für die jetzige Corona-Situation ein sehr leckeres Frühstück. Wir kennen leider auch andere. Das Chinarestaurant, was im Haus integriert ist, haben wir nicht mitbekommen.
