Karthi's Braunlage Cafe

Really simple German food but it was delicious. The service was also excellent. Highly recommend the currywurst with proper sauce made in house.
Unfortunately I can't return to this establishment as I nearly killed the lovely waitress. It still haunts me to this day.

Ribs is a house specialty that they really master here. Super tender and delicious taste. If in Harz area don’t miss out on this place.

We had reserved table. Good ide. Very Nice schnitzel. We had three kind. All good.

The host was very accommodating with 4 of us with 2 huge strollers , we got our own private area of the restaurant . The food was as advertised high quality and very generous quantity . The staff was helpful and very polite. Will surely come back .

The schnitzels were high quality and well cooked. The owner and his wife were a pleasure to talk to and very friendly. I will come back in the future! :)

Friendly host and solid German food. My kids enjoyed their flammkuchen while adults had the house special schnitzel. The kids already want to go back 👍

Been coming here for 7 years. Herr Karti is a character. Great food, reasonably priced and outside eating if preferred. Will always come here on every visit to Braunlage.

Great choice of traditional schnitzels, great craic with other customers who helped us translate the menu as we were the only non-German speaking diners.

Fantastische schnitzels! Service kan beter. De bar en het restaurant zijn met elkaar verbonden, maar met slechts 1 dame in de bediening voor beide restaurants. Houd rekening met ruikende kleding na een bezoekje aan dit restaurant. Verder echt heerlijk gegeten! Van buiten ziet het er niet aantrekkelijk uit, maar de smaak van het eten maakt echt alles goed! Aanrader!

Wir wurden hier ganz herzlich mit unseren zwei Hunden empfangen und haben zum Glück auch noch spontan einen Tisch bekommen, ohne Reservierung.

Wir hatten einmal das Paprika Schnitzel mit Pommes u. Gurkensalat und einmal das Hirschgulasch mit Kartoffeln und Rotkohl und Preiselbeerbirne.

Beides war ganz hervorragend und das Ambiente war auch gemütlich.

Ich würde als Hintergrundmusik aber tatsächlich eine schöne Playlist bevorzugen und keinen Radiosender wo viel geredet wird.. das aber als einziger Kritikpunkt.
Wir waren insgesamt total zufrieden und werden definitiv wieder vorbeikommen!

Absolute Empfehlung, einfach aber unfassbar lecker und die Schnitzel hausgemacht, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 🤗

Lecker und empfehlenswert. Vorab reservieren wird empfohlen. Aber dennoch ist nur eine Kellnerin tätig, die für alle Gäste bedient. Vielleicht eine zusätzliche Kraft denkbar

5.Sterne sind noch zuwenig ! 10 von 10 . Hab noch nie so leckere Schnitzel gegessen!!! Einfach Hammer ! Ein Muss wenn wir wieder eine Harz Tour machen ! ☺
