Good varieties of (German) cakes and they all look tasty. They offer nice traditional breakfast. The coffee is so so but the place makes you feel home and very friendly services. Good vibe! Will definitely go again!

Looking for an early (for Frankfurt) breakfast? This is one of the few cafes away from the seedy Hauptbanhof area (15 minutes walk from the main train station) open at 8:00. The fitness breakfast is large enough to be shared by two people. My Americano was made with care. Lovely atmosphere inside and out.

I have come to this café for many years. It probably has the best selection of cake in the area. Delicious breakfast, friendly staff, and a cozy environment. It is a must if you are looking for great cake in the area.

Super VFM. Their breakfasts are such a delight. We go almost every weekend now. Friendly staff. Always cheerful and happy. Not something you find in frankfurt always necessarily. Good solid food and dependable for quality. Always the same quality. The guy who owns it is also mostly around. Cheerful and happy too. Clearly good cheer is easier when the management is also like that.

I come to Schiffercafe regularly for their great coffee, delicious cakes and breakfast. I have also enjoyed weekend brunch with friends there and would highly recommend them for their offerings, lovely home-made cakes, courteous service and nice ambience.

Simple, really nice atmosphere and extremely nice staff. Coffee was great and it is dog friendly. One of the only places to open early on a Saturday.

Schiffercafé is one of my favorite coffees around. They got delicious omlettes and great home made cakes. The staff is always friendly and you can sit outsides, which is a plus, too. The only thing I did not like this summer was their home made limonade - just sparkling water, lemon juice and sugar.

Our favourite place in Sachsenhausen. Breakfast, morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea, or just a beer and sausage - it's all good and served by friendly people who always have a moment for a chat. A home from home.♡

Nine months later I can only say that this is beyond doubt the very best place in Sachsenhausen. I must have been here more than a hundred times in the past year and I have never been disappointed. I leave Germany in a week and I'll miss this place more than any other.
