A must try for anyone visiting Bad Wildbad!
Some of the best food I have ever had in my entire life! I had the spare-ribs and the burger and both were absolutley amazing.
The owner was friendly and wonderful to talk to. My girlfriend and I loved the restaurant and were able to eat both inside and outside during our trip and it was lovely both times. Good food, good drinks and a good time all around!

Honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The food is all made from scratch, the flavors were out of this world. It’s one of those meals you’ll remember later and your mouth will water. I had the pulled pork meal and my partner had the burger. Truly the best food I’ve had in a very very long time. Highly recommend!

Delightful in character, the outwardly unassuming "Café am Bad" is thoroughly unique! A warm welcome awaits and the exceedingly personable host takes great care in talking new arrivals through the menu. Not only is each dish prepared with sustainably sourced ingredients, it also has its own story. Suffused with influences of the Spanish cuisine, the food is simply supreme. And to round off their experience, guests can befriend the resident cat and dog, both of whom make for excellent company in this relaxed and joyous place.

Don‘t be pushed aback by the atmosphere. Probably the best food in town. You should also have his special Gin. It‘s way to cheap for this kind of high quality food.

We went to this place because it had a lot of good reviews and they are well deserved. It's a small place that you easily walk past but it's worth it.

The food was really good! Sadly my German isn't that great to provide the original dish names. I had an Argentine steak with potato and ratatouille instead of salad and my wife had homemade Maultaschen with ratatouille.

We recommend both and definitely go for the ratatouille instead of the salad, you get that everywhere else. :p

If you're on the terrace, you have a good view of the hills and part of the town.

The staff was really kind and attentive and the meal that we were served were enormous and absolutely delicious. The nice atmosphere, the music and lightning, added to the charm of the place.

My wife and I are stereotypical Americans that love French fries and beer. We stopped for a beer and fries while waiting for our train after the thermals, as it’s right by the station. Oh my god. I wasn’t expecting to have the best fries of my life. Not even an exaggeration. And we’re from idaho, so we know potatoes. We took them to go and sneakily ate them on the train because it would be a travesty to leave any of these fries uneaten. Although I know we’ll soon be halfway around the world, these fries may be the thing that some day bring us back to Germany. It’s almost a shame to have found them because fries may be ruined for us forever. You should try the fries

Cute little place with amazing food, the ribs and pulled pork are a must try! The staff there was really nice and friendly! He read the menu to us because we don't speak/read German and he did so in a funny way that gave us a good laugh! For my kids they had some old school toy cars on display that he took down for them to play!

Delicious little cafe next to several thermal spas in downtown Wildbad. We ordered smoked salmon on potato cakes, ratatouille with omelette (the omelette was more like soufflé), tomato cream soup, and salad. The smoked salmon was good, and the ratatouille was amazing! If you’re a tourist, be ready for the slower, quieter German dining experience. English menus were available. Only a few spots were available in the vicinity for street parking. We parked in a residential area and walked 5 minutes. Well worth the visit.

Perhaps the finest Café in Bad Wildbad, small and chill. Their options for cakes aren't big, but that's because they are all made by hand just like every menu they offer. Thus, the food is always delicious and nice too look at.

The best restaurant in Bad Wildbad with its modest deco and very nice staff. They don't have a list of 1000 options but every each item on the menu is perfectly made so just order whatever you feel like you won't be sorry. Wirkt unscheinbar, aber das Beste Essen das ich bisher hatte. Mega SpareRips, Burger mit US Beef, frisch gewolft, das marmorierte Fleisch sieht man davor und außergewöhnlich gute Pommes und Zwiebeln 😍. Der Wirt ist ein absolutes Unikat und hat das Herz am rechten Fleck.

Wir beide schon etwas älter waren im Cafe am Bad auf Empfehlung eines Freundes. Beim eintreten überrascht von der wohnlichen Atmosphäre des Lokals, den Büchern der Aufteilung des Raums und der Begrüßung des Inhabers, Kochs und Bedienung in einer Person. Nach einer kurzen Entschuldigung ( nur noch ein Teil der Speisekarte war verfügbar) hat der Besitzer uns einen Wein empfohlen, die Speisekarte vorgestellt und das Fleisch präsentiert das Er für unseren Burger verwenden will. Wir hatten beide einen Cheeseburger der vom Geschmack den Beilagen und den Pommes wirklich einer der besten war die wir bis jetzt gegessen haben. Nächstes Mal werden wir die Spareribs probieren die seine Spezialität sind. Toller Abend man muss sich nur darauf einlassen

Bester Burger ever!!! Die Qualität der Zutaten spürt man bei jedem Bissen. Ist der Hammer. Muss man hin! Wir kommen wieder!

Hier gibt’s wirklich unglaublich gutes Essen, egal welches Gericht man von der Speisekarte probiert!

Es ist kein 0-8-15 Restaurant. Hier ist es wie beim Kumpel zu Hause eingeladen zu sein, daher hat das Lokal eine besondere Atmosphäre. Es läuft immer geniale Musik und es kommt zu vielen tollen Gesprächen. Egal ob drinnen oder draußen, der Besuch lohnt sich! Ich bin immer gerne hier und gebe 10 Sterne klare Weiterempfehlung! 💙

Kleine Karte, aber außergewöhnlich gutes Essen! Zumeist verlasse ich Restaurants enttäuscht. Hier war es perfekt! Alles frisch und selbst zubereitet (bis auf den Salat 😉) und das schmeckt man bei jedem Bissen! Wer hier nicht einkehrt und etwas isst, ist selbst schuld. Vielen Dank für dieses Ausnahmeerlebnis in der Gastronomie und das abrundende Dessert.

Kleines Lokal mit mit kleinem Team (Inhaber/Koch/Kellner/Entertainer in einem Plus eine Aushilfe). Die Karte ist recht kurz, scheint auch saisonal zu wechseln. Gute Drinks, sowohl geschmacklich, als auch was den Wirkungsgrad angeht (sehr guter Mai Tai).

Wir waren zwei Abende in Folge zu zweit da, jeweils essen und trinken. Die vier Gerichte (Merguez, Spare Ribs, Gambas & "Sauerei" [pulled pork, pommes, Cole slaw]) waren ausnahmslos überragend.

Die (wenigen) schlechten Rezensionen kann ich mir nur durch Gäste erklären die kein Verständnis für Ruhetage, das mal was aus sein kann, oder das ein kleines Team mal einen Moment länger braucht haben.

Etwas hochpreisiger, aber lohnt sich in jedem Fall. Insbesondere, da man wenn man dort ist vermutlich Urlaub macht kann man die paar Euro die es mehr kostet als beim 0815-Italiener auf jeden Fall ausgeben.

Auf jeden Fall wieder, leider ist die Strecke ein bisschen zu lang um mal eben für einen gemütlichen Abend rüber zu fahren.

Meiner Meinung nach der bisher mit Abstand beste Burger den ich je essen durfte! Der Pulled Pork Burger ist ein wahrer Traum ❤ Auch die Sauerei ist zum hineinlegen. Pommes werden selber gemacht, keine TK-Ware.. Fabian, der nette, junge Betreiber und Koch ist mit Herzblut dabei und verwöhnt mit Freude die Gaumen seiner Gäste.
