I ordered the Salmon with spinach casserole/Auflauf. 🤤
It was really good and very much filling.
Too bad I wasn’t able to secure a table for myself since it was a Saturday lunch time when I arrived there so better to make reservations since the place is not too big so it can be easily packed people.
But taking my order to go was also not a bad idea because I just took a short walk to the castle 🏰 and sat on a bench.

Best Casserole /Auflauf in Marburg. I recommend the tomato gnocchi basil version or the spicy ground beef with potatoes and peppers. It’s a small place But well worth the wait

The beer they recommended is amazing. It’s Benediktiner Weissbrau and Grevensteiner (nature). And then we tried the hausgemachte flammkuchen(102) and it was very delicious!!! Thank you so much for the kind service!!

We had a wonderful lunch here today. I had the spaetzels special and my husband had the chicken casserole with pasta. The waitresses were attentive even though they were hopping from table to table. The atmosphere is wonderful with nice tables spaced well and comfy seating.

I had always wondered why this place was crowded at brunch time and now I know it. Good price, good and kind service, satisfying dishes, nice place, nice vibe. Despite the place was crowded the service didn't take long, 10 min more or less to bring the order. Pretty recommended.

A very nice, calm environment to meet friends. Affordable breakfast menu with coffee. But tea is not good if you are a teacholic as me 😀

Very nice and cozy cafe in a beautiful neighborhood. The food was splendid - hands down the best casserole we have tried in Marburg! The service was very amicable and made us feel super comfortable. In all aspects 5/5! We will definitely come back!

Very tasty meals, super friendly staff and a great location. Outdoor seating is pretty tight. Meals are plentiful.

This is my 5th time there and I must admit that my perception of the place has changed. Service is always great and food tasty. No matter whether the joint is full one gets attended swiftly and the prices are also quiet OK. Totally recommended for any meal type.
