Bier is one of the best in Munich, the food (especially schnitzel) was also very good. Fast and friendly service, life music and acceptable prices, easy parking. One can not wish for more

Nice, cozy traditional Bavarian food. Not like any of the big beer brands in Munich. Small menu but delicious food. If lucky, you get to hear the live music!!!

Nice place! We ate outside, very relaxing and lovely. The food was awesome, good quality and flavourful, not expensive at all. Even the kids enjoyed their food. There is a parking place near by. We will definitely come back!

Forschungsbrauerei is the best of the Munich breweries. Well, it's not quite IN Munich but their beer beats the pants off the Munich breweries and it's worth the 15 minute trip to get there. It was all about the beer in the beginning but they've always had a great Obatzn (cheese spread). Under new management and the food is great now, too. I've mostly ordered Schweinebraten (roast pork) and it's been excellent every time. Their Pilsissimus is perhaps the best beer in southern Bavaria, a cross between a pils and export, just malty enough to be moreish but loads of hops for a great long dry finish. They do a great bock, as well and have recently expanded their line. I've not had a bad beer here. Well worth the trip.

Food, beer and service were great, even with the waiter not speaking english! I highly recommend here, not sure if is considered munich, but was one of the best places we went here so far! I had the 6 stuck bierwurstl, which is 6 sausages with with potato salad and horseradish!

Good beer, good food. Definitely worth the short trip from town if you want to get away from the crowds. Unfortunately the full beer list wasn't available this visit so I guess we'll have to come back another time. Damn!!

This is an amazing place to go for an exceptional beer with great, special, unique taste. And also the selection of food is convincing for a brewery. One of the LOVELIEST beergardens around Munich. Nicely decorated with flowers. Inside authentic Bavarian style.
