Krefeld Zoo

Very good and cozy zoo. It's not huge, but all animals looking good. Unusual experience when you can walk nearby penguins) rainforest is also great place 😊and thank you for opportunity to see snow leopards!)

Really nice zoo. I like it. 10€ for a student, not so cheap but fine for a few hours of education and entertainment. Would go there again (in a few years).

It is a mid sized Zoo, big but not that big. Just enough to visit it in 4 to 5 hours. Parking P1 and P2 were full but there were enough places available in P3.

Who doesn't love zoo? It's a childhood joy to go to a zoo. We love Krefeld Zoo. It's medium-sized, fair-priced and most importantly, it's pet friendly. You can bring your furry friends to meet other furry or feathery or even leathery friends here.

Surprised at how good this zoo was on first impression when walking in it looked small however it soon opened up and in fact is quite a large zoo and well worth the entrance fee the butterfly house was quite amazing

I like this place, because this zoo is not too large and rarely overcrowded. Every visit is a 3 to 4 hours trip over 4 different climate zones, giving you a chance to escape from your daily routine. €13.50 for a grown up visitor is a reasonable price and definitely worth it.

Great smaller zoo. With maps all around, circular tour, small cafe and restaurant wih a view over flamingos, loved it. Also the staff was very nice and helpful. Worth every cent.

Very nice zoo with lots of opportunities to make pictures. There are lots of different animals, even though the zoo is a little small. Especially enjoyed the butterfly and bird spaces.

This is quite the Zoo. It has a butterfly area, tropical rainforest area where the small monkeys are free to roam. Two playgrounds, one fairly large and has a 0.50€ per-swing for smaller kids. I recommend using the bathroom in the cafe. It's nice and doesn't stink. 😅 Visiting in the winter months gives the rainforest a really nice touch. Bring chilled snacks in the summer to cool off.

Really like this zoo. Easy to follow a route so you can see all the animals. They have a nice collection. Food and drinks is not cheap though.

one of the best zoo in nrw. the price is cheaper than most zoo (11€ Adult, 8€ Ermäßigt.) but it is so beautiful. totally recommend you to take the Rundgang path. please ask for the free keychain with your photo on it from the lady with camera at the front gate! totally worth it

Small and beautiful. Prices very reasonable. A lot of animals are not present of course, but it makes the zoo intimate and clear.

Such a beautiful zoo. Not as large as its neighbours in Duisburg or Cologne but presenting so many fascinating species. A true gem. Ideal for families with children.
