Cafe Lieb Bäckerei, Konditorei

The cafeteria is so cool the food is amazing and the place is big and cozy. but the blond guy who works there is not nice, he attended us and was a bit rude. he looks like he doesn’t want to do his job. The other staff was nice tho.

Walked in by chance, and really enjoyed our stay. We had coffee and a raspberry creme "torte" - which was both delicious and great looking.

Alfredo seating on the sidewalk is available, but the view is not especially appealing - since one is just overlooking a main two way road. For us, this was fine, and on a sunny day we really enjoyed it. But it might not be to everyone's taste.

However, very generous indoor seating is available, and the ambience & decor inside the "Cafe Lieb" is very cozy, but still modern. One can purchase all varieties of baked goods, cakes, pastries and warm & hot drinks. Staff is very friendly and swift, and the cafe offers a unique payment system for cash payments. After getting the final bill displayed on the registrar, one can feed a cash machine with coins and bills. The machine will give change back, and is a very hygienic and efficient system IMHO. Card payments are also accepted, and "Cafe Lieb" offers ample parking as well as clean toilets for guests.

Overall, a good experience with "lecker" cake and coffee. "Cafe Lieb" offers good value, nice atmosphere and good service. Recommended!

I’m new in Germany (only staying a few months) and the staff are extremely patient and kind about my shaky German. I’ve only had their coffee and dinkelbrot but both were great! I like going there to work. They don’t offer free wifi, but that helps me focus

Best bakery in Tübingen! So many people come here so always fresh warm bretzel. Big line of people in the weekends, but go anyway the people working here is so quick that you never have to wait for long.

Hands down the best bakery in Tübingen! A word of warning though: Not all of their stores in Tübingen have the same great products or the same friendly staff. Their shop at the Bahnhof, for example, is pretty terrible.

Cafe Lieb has the BEST chocolate croissants in town!

Die Mitarbeiter haben extra eine halbe Stunde vor offizieller Öffnungszeit für mich die Tür aufgemacht, so dass ich mir auf dem Rückweg von der Nachtschicht ein Frühstück kaufen konnte. Die Brezeln waren auch noch schön warm

Café Lieb ehemals Alleencafe ganz neu. Backwaren sind in gewohnt guter Qualität. Der Quarkstollen ist legendär

Ganz besondere und leckere Kuchen gegessen. Absolut nicht 0-8-15, sondern tolle Kreationen.

Das Cafe ist modern eingerichtet und bietet genügend Platz. Die Kuchen und Torten sehen nicht nur lecker aus, sie schmecken auch so!!

Freundliches Personal! Super Auswahl! Einziges Manko, wenn man an den Stoßzeiten dort ist muss man oft länger warten und bekommt keinen Sitzplatz.
