Landal Warsberg

This is a really lovely site! Enjoyable pool, fab kids park and good takeaway onsite! The chair lift and tobogganing onsite are a massive positive too! We visited nearby Trier and the local town of Saarburg - both places are beautiful and not to be missed!!

We had an amazing long weekend at Landal Warsberg. Even though it was busy in the park, it was very quiet the whole time, so we could really get some rest.
Plenty of things to do for kids, and a few towns nearby. Also a good area to walk . Definitely recommended and we will be back in the future!

The houses are very nice and the location is much better. The city is also beautiful. I strongly recommend you go on vacation here

Beautiful new renovated house, loved the walking trails around the park, the view over the valley, the wine fields and tasting. Saarburg is a beautiful little village. Also close to Trier and was an easy 45 min drive to the center of Luxemburg. We stayed here a week and it was amazing. For kids it’s also a great park because it’s a safe place in the middle of nature with many play areas, a big pool, sports & more.

What a lovely part of the world if your into clubs and night life this is not for you . If you just want a nice relaxing holiday meeting people from all over the continent it's spot on . The village/town is great very friendly with lots of historical things to see . And the water fall at night is pretty cool

Very good experiences at Landal Warsberg. We have been here a few times now. First the bungalows were a bit 'old' but now all the bungalows are completely renovated and new. The surroundings are very green, it feel spatious, The houses have big windows, good functional kitchen, good bed.

The facilities at the park for kids are really great. They had a new playground for every day of the week, met a lot of new kids. The swimmingpool is great for them. Also they loved both the rodelbahn and the lift to Saarburg. The general area with the reception still looks a bit outdated and there can be more fun stuff for kids inside. But the person at the reception told us it will get a full renovation at the end of the season as well.

For adults there are many possible hikes with beautiful view, to saarburg, to the birdpark etc. Also there are many other hikes in the region, all along the Saar river, along the Moezel river, many castles, churches, restaurants etc. We also did a walking tour with wine tasting with Vinolismus. learned a lot about Riesling ;).

We also visited Saarburg, Trier, Luxemburg and some other villages and cities. Saarburg is nice and quiet, for lunch or icecream with a cute village, small castle and a waterfall. Trier was above expectation with all the roman history and artefects. Really vibrant 'student' city with a lot of history.

Overall, lot of fun things to do, and relatively cheap stay compared to many other bungalowparks. We will be back.

Nice camping, booked with vacance solei. Stayed in a house called Bali, it was clean at arrival. Camping has al facilities to have a nice vacation.

Second time we booked here. Spacious, clean, modern bungalows in a park close to Trier and Luxembourg (Pictures were taken after we packed everything up again). Nice pool for younger kids. Timeslots are 1,5 hours and need to be booked in advance, through the Landal App. The pool down in Saarburg is better suited for teens and adults. The Park Shop has reasonable prices. Free COVID-19 testing in the afternoon. Fun chairlift to Saarburg in the valley.

We spent a week at this resort, located on top of a mountain - well the German word is Berg - above the charming small town of Saarburg. We had a 3-bedroom chalet which was very clean and well-equipped. They only give you one toilet roll, however. The on-site restaurant is very good with good German food. I love Schnitzel so had that several times. The portions were very generous and the prices were very good. The menu was only in German so if you don't speak it, you'll need a dictionary or translation tool. Most of the staff spoke some English but I found it easier to just use German. The indoor pool is very nice but I was disappointed in the sauna and steam room I expected the usual large rooms I've experienced elsewhere but these were small, almost individual ones that cost €3 each. There is a well-stocked shop on-site. Back to being up a mountain: the only way to reach the resort is by car, taxi, on foot, or the chairlift which costs about €4 p.p. each way but only runs 10.00 to 18.00 and not on Mondays. We arrived at 7.00 on a Friday evening at Saarburg railway station which is permanently closed. There were no taxis. Fortunately we'd exchanged emails with Landal and they had sent the telephone number of a local taxi firm. I rang them - again, you must be fluent enough in German to carry out a phone conversation - and a taxi turned up in 5 minutes. The driver was extremely helpful and when we arrived at the resort he knew what I had to do as the office closes at 5 or 6pm: use the emergency phone to get instructions to open the safe containing an envelope with keys to our chalet. The taxi cost €11 - well worth it. We walked up and down the mountain several times and also used the chairlift. The views were spectacular. Summary: a very pleasant stay but don't expect to be catered to.

We come here for the playground and yes, you can enter and don't need to be guest. The children always very much enjoy the bouncy and the water play.

Terrible staff. Not friendly and not helpfull. But the venue en the cottages are okay.

Very relaxing holiday park with stunning views and friendly staff. Lovely onsite bar and restaurant with good food at a reasonable price. Local town very pretty with cobbled town square and cafes.

Nice bungalows, a bit small for 6 persons, but good facilities and nicely situated near the cable cars to the village below.
