Another magnificent architecture by Hundertwasser.
They have a guided tour of this brewery which costs you 20 EUR.
The tour is in German but at the counter they give you a booklet in English which explains everything what tour guide says in German.
Brewery is beautifully constructed and maintained.
Weekdays are the best days to see a fully functional brewery.
They have enough parking space.
You can get a Beer/Soft drink + one pretzel for free when you book a guided tour.

I am not a beer enthusiast but this place was very interesting and the architecture was AMAZING. There is meaning in every detail of the structure.

We parked in the lot next to the souvenir shop which is where you buy tickets to enter. We were a family of four and that cost 36 euro for the tour and a beer/soft drink and pretzels at the end. The tour is in German but they offer an English script which is very helpful and informative. I don’t drink beer but wanted the full experience so I tried the Suße Liebe and it was surprisingly good. It was sweet with a hint of citrus and did not taste like beer at all. I definitely recommend going. We had fun!

A very nice Brauerei at heart of Abensberg. The Brauerei houses the Hundertwasser Turm and it is a must visit location. We were unable to climb up the tower as it was closed for public.

Very cool place to stop for a few minutes and admire Hundertwasser’s work. Unfortunately the museum and gift shop were closed when I went, but I’m still glad I stopped for a look.

Kuchlbauer Tower is amazing. However, if you go to the tower ensure you take the tour of the Kuchlbauer brewery. The backstory is amazing and so is the art. For two adults to do the brewery and tower tour it was €25. However, at the end of the tour you get a free beer and pretzel. The tour and tower both have elevators that are wheelchair accessible and there is a parking lot across the street from the tower.

One of Hundertwasser masterpieces, very nice and fun. The biergarten is surprisingly good as well!

Great place! No typical tourists around. Better to visit in working days, so you’ll be able to feel the smell of the beer production. Excursion only in Deutsch and several times during the day in English, and don’t know the timetable.

The guided tour take place once every hour. This is the only way to visit it. Nice interactive presentation, and beautiful place. It worth every cent and minute. Also the beer is very tasty 😋 I already visited twice and brought friends with me

Amazing. Interesting buildings from Hundertwasser

Extraordinary place to visit. The architecture is just off the charts, especially for a small Bavarian village. Very colorful, much detail and phantasy.

It was an amazing time. I took my family that came from America. Four kids and seven adults. I don't have to say what a hastle it was even buying the tickets and being on time for the tour. But the staff was absolutely amazing and friendly and took all the time we needed. We joined the tour and I shared with the guide that my family speaks mostly English and no German. He hired me as a teanslator for all English tour guests and we had a blast. The guide was lovely and the tour wonderful. I highly recommend every family to come here and to enjoy the great tour and beer, as well as the heartwarming story about the company itself.

A must do for wheat beer lovers! Beautiful architecture and philosophy combined with a first-in-class brewery. They have guided tours explaining their history, brewing, Hundertwasser's philosophy and it is also entertaining for kids.
Around Christmas time they also have their own Christkindlmarkt.
