Fantastic place during wintertime for far views through the Eifel forest. Bring proper footwear, its very slippery up and down the path due to the ice & snow!

Be prepared as it is quite a lengthy trek.

However it is fully worth it once you reach the tower.

A local mentioned this place otherwise we'd never have known about it. Look out from the highest point in the area, from the top of a tower, and it's free! Big gravel car park and 10-15 minutes walk uphill.

Super schöne Aussicht von hier.
Man kann weit ins Land schauen. Bei Guter Sicht ist die Stadt Bonn bis hin zum Petersberg mit Hotel und die Drachenburg sowie den Drachenfels im Siebengebirge zusehen. Zur anderen Seite hinweg bis nach Köln und den berühmten Dom. Auch die Bürgerinne Burg Ohlbrück ist wunderbar zusehen. Ein unbedingter muss wenn man hier in der Nähe ist. Auch der Weg nach oben ist wunderbar zu laufen und nebenei wird der Wald auf Schautafeln betreffend Geschichte und Forstwirtschaft erklärt.

Machte einen schönen Spaziergang mit der schönen Aussicht von diesem Turm als Highlight. Sie haben einen fantastischen Blick über die Nordschleife und die Eifel.

Mooie wandeltocht gemaakt met als hoogtepunt het mooie uitzicht vanaf deze toren. Je hebt een fantastisch uitzicht over de nordschleife en de Eifel.
