Neandertal game reserve

It is nice place to visit a ne go for a 1-2 tours walk , also seeing wild animals there. On sundays, not airways but.mostly and when the weather is good, small imbiss is open for food to go. The beste is Spanferkel im brötchen , hihgly recommended. But now in Winter they have also Glühwein to go.😁 in Summer bigger offer in food and all very good and nice portions.

Wildgehege Neandertal is worth a visit because of the opportunity to see many animals in their natural habitat and enjoy the beautiful nature.

Awesome! A little disappointed the Wisents were not as readily viewable as i would like. Signs were very educational and it was a nice walk. Was there in the rain: it was good i had hiking boots for that!

It is a nice little wildlife park. There are just three types of animals which is not bad at all. They have huge areas to themselves. Wisents, aurochs and tarpans (a stoneage wild horse) are in good shape and impressive to look at. The park can be overlooked nicely from the hills around. I found it very relaxing.

It is a very nice place to walk around. You can have a perfect day here with a photo cam and some food for lunch.

Very beautiful place. I felt very close to nature. There were a lot of different animals. It could be very interesting place for children.

The Neandertal is probably one of the most well-known places in the world and therefore a destination that attracts a lot of visitors. Apart from the Neanderthal man who was found 160 years ago the valley is a place of excursions for nature-lovers and hikers alike. The Neanderthal Museum, the place of discovery and the ice-age game reserve near the river Düssel are suitable for a full-day excursion.
