Amazing exhibition of the ice age. Takes about two hours to go through. Is running until end of August. There's plenty to read, touch and feel. A must visit right now. The Lokschuppen stages many different exhibitions, this is one of my favorites.

Very nice location and very nice exhibition (Saurier – Giganten der Meere).
Besides the exhibition itself there's a reasonably sized locker room, a shop and a bistro (apparently a restaurant will come soon). A playground is just outside and plenty of parking lots are nearby.
As for the exhibition, it is very well done, has lots of exhibits, quite a few hands-on ones and lots of information (also available in English via QR codes), yet it is in fact quite pricy as well.

Very interesting exhibit for adults and kids, great guided tour (in German), no need for purchasing an audio guide!

We saw the Saurier exhibition at the start of 2020 and it's a great exhibition in a great location. The prices are reasonable for the scope of the exhibition and there's enough to keep the small people occupied and even interested. Who knows if they learned anything but we passed a happy two hours there.

Small but otherwise interesting enough exhibition. Descriptions are in German but you can use your phone to scan the QR codes for an English translation, though it wasn't working for me the day I visited. You can pay extra for an audio guide in English if you so wish.

It was a brilliant experience for the whole family (incl. an 8 and 10 year old)! Lots of interactive things for kids

Ice age exhibition - same as the preceding on dinosaurs - is excellent, both for adults and kids
