I've stayed at the hotel 35-40 times over the last 10 years for a total of about 2 years. The rooms have all been renovated during this time. The staff is fantastic and the food is great. Velburg is a beautiful city. Lots to do and see in the area.

Fantastic hotel, excellent service and food.

The hotel is in the center of the city. There is a pharmacy, a Greek restaurant, Chinese restaurant all 1 minute away. Its clean and staff friendly. They speak English so easy to Communicate and very easy to work with. They even told me a can make payment two days after the due date. They have a restaurant as well that serves German food. There is Breakfast in the morning as well. Is not a continental breakfast, but German breakfast. Its 36 minutes from Regensburg. 5 stars

Nice cozy little rooms with a great staff. The restaurant is absolutely delicious and not overly expensive. Definitely made me feel welcome my first few weeks in Germany .

Anja and Richard are fantastic hosts and run a wonderful gasthaus in Velberg. The restaurant is exactly what you'd expect in the heart of Bavaria, rich flavorful foods straight from local sources and an amazing atmosphere.

Located in a quiet town, old fashioned rooms, but the bathrooms are quite modern-themed. Good service too.

This is the place I stay when I have business at Hohrnfels. The most friendly and attentive staff, breakfast included everyday, great location to other things to do in town.

Delicious food. I had the sauerbrauten and it was so good. My baby loved the dumplings.
