Small airport with frequent connections to Italy, Morocco and Greece.
It's quite far from the Düsseldorf HBf, so better to plan the journey... Has nice toilets and good cafe's.

I had been not flying anywhere yet, just checking the place. It is small one but it has everything which is needed in any airport. Clean and modern but on the side from all cities around. Anyway there is an option to rent a car in case You need to travel further ;)

Suitcases took literally 2’ to arrive since I made it to the terminal. Toilets are super clean. I only find the parking a bit overpriced… but like every airport parking in general…

We used it for arrival and departure from and to Edinburgh and arrival was quick as it was about 15 mins getting through and we got to the airport 3 hours before the flight and no problems with me getting through to departures and there was one issue for my brother and it got sorted out and a part from a Coca-Cola zone and didn't find anything to look at and we went to boarding gate and waited outside for 15 mins to board our flight and its a good airport

Great example of airport with high score in all senses:

1. It was built on area of ex military airport of British army (sustainability)
2. Situated in very suburb and forest area (diversity)
3. All airport stuff, including security, rayanair assistants, cleaning ladies - are extremely friendly polite people (customer service)
4. All flights I took departed exactly on stated time and landed a bit ahead time (punctuality)

Even if it is a small airport it is still modern ambient. You get everything what is necessary. Small Restaurant and duty free Shop. The staff is really nice and friendly. In particular at the security check.

Everything is EASY here! Small but very effective as always.

Hello, i'm using RyanAir departed from Weeze Airport. The condition of the airport is actually just okay, it's a small airport with limited seats compared to the passengers.
In belongings checking make sure you dont bring any bottle with >100ml cuz mine was taken for it. Also because my bag is too big, i need to pay for priority bag cabin. When u already in the airport, you cant buy priority anymore from Website and the price in check in counter would be higher, so i tried to order from RyanAir apps and it costs me around 26€, 25 + visa fee.

Despite being one hour away from Düsseldorf the airport itself is well run with check-in, security and boarding all seamless. Much better experience than at the terrible Cologne-Bonn.

Nice little airport with some very cheap flights to it and the lady at the info desk spoke English and was very helpful. But Ryanair are having a giggle calling this Dusseldorf! If you don't have a lift figured out, make sure you arrive with time to do an hour or two of rural bus journeys.

The lost and found department here is super efficient. I forgot my items worth 130 euros on the plane and sent an email. I got a reply within 10 mins. And in a few hours someone had handed over my items and I got an email about the same. Christiane did a really good job at communicating with me and giving me quick updates. Loved it. 😄 so happy they found my stuff. They have a courier option to receive the item as well. Amazing.

Simple airport with no fuzz. Great for short flights. Free WiFi and multilingual staff make it a pleasant experience.

I use a walking stick and need assistance. The brilliant and observant staff throughout the airport provided every assistance needed and more. Leaving their post to give me an arm to gate in one instance!! Many, many thanks to all the staff!! 💪

Really small, charming little airport. Comes with its own quircks, but really easy going. Prefer this over more busier airports.
