Bürger Park

This park is very close to the Braunschweig railway station. It is a very big and beautiful park with lots of garden seatings, exercise equipments, kids play areas. Often you see people jogging, cycling, walking, BBQ-ing, kayaking etc, making it a multi-purpose wholesome recreational park. It has so many landscape elements, and I never get tired of going there.

A nice place to go for walk on weekend when sun is out. You can also play disc throwing or small picnic with family and friends

Park like no other, with slow and quiet river whitch is anything but strait, plenty of Green, many walking areas, for quiet walk or running or cyciling...
You have an option for remting a canooe, or (this is mine first time to see something like this) you can rent a frisbee, or better sead a complete of diferent wheights frisbees in a rucksack and go on a "DiscGolfPark" tour, you have like a golf course diferent distances and all kind of trees in a way... Very interesting....
I was totaly relaxed after few minutes in this park, quiet with few ducks, and rabbits...
Perfect for Sunday picnic with family.

Huge Park in the middle of Braunschweig. Good place to hangout, Jogging, picnic, Reading books, or Just stralling around in the morning or afternoon. They usually have an Open Air Concert During Summer.

Very nice and calm place. I was here for morning jogging and I met several runners on my way. Maybe it was because beautiful sunrise, but they all were very friendly, smiling and waving at one another. If I would live in this city for longer time, this would be my place to go regularly.

Big and great park! I live in brunswick and I must say I am really impressed by this city's park in general but also by the buerger park in particular. It offers some sportive exercises like Disc golf (you would have to bring the discs yourself but there are many freely available tracks) and its perfect for a walk or sit near one of the nearby bodies of water.

Braunschweig, always passed by on the highway... but especially the outskirts and the park is so beautiful. Ancient very rich town which has many stories to tell. Rent a bicycle and enjoy a boat ride on the Oker river. Visit highly recommended.

Nice, serene park. The best time to visit is spring months though when the flowers are in full bloom. I visited it in wet, cold weather with some small hints of spring approaching fast.

Good place for family outing. Wc are very less. It would be good if they arrange more wc inside park. Or give proper way and notice to inside the park.

Best place in town, especially the event „Kultur im Zelt“

Very relaxing place, and you can play sport there, they put an opened gym.
It is spacious, green, quite place .
