Hotel Der Achtermann

We chose Goslar because of the history and beautiful buildings and surrounding nature.
And of course when you are visiting a place like that, you should pick the beat hotel there is.

And look no further than Der Achtermann.

Beautiful rooms with lovely bathrooms and a minibar which isn't expensive ;)

The service is satisfactory with the cleaning being done proffesionally, and the restaurant staff being very helpful.

And then of course the rest of the staff also did a good job.

The food was also something you'd remember, because it was perfect.

But if you haven't purchased the option to eat at the hotel, then luckily, the hotel is placed close to the city center.

So currywurst is never more than 4 minutters away.

Would definitely recommend you choosing this hotel when visiting Goslar.

We stayed here for a few days. I cannot say enough great things about our stay. Check in was fast and went very smoothly. It is a quaint hotel in a very quaint German village. It was so quiet, and we were able to sleep so great. All the staff was super friendly, and we didn’t want to leave. You will not find a better place to stay in Goslar Gernany❤

We had a buffet lunch there after a baptism. The menu was excellent! A lot of variety and we all ate way too much, because it was all just too good. I would definitely consider having a party there in the future.

Old and charming hotel in the center of Goslar. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast and dinner buffets is of high quality (in my opinion) 😋

Nice, clean rooms. Great view from the windows. Free access to swimming pool and saunas for guests. A bit loud at night.

Good hotel with excellent SPA. Food location. But I realy do believe they should offer free parking.

A small town of Goslar to visit on weekend. Nice cafes and local bakeries to enjoy.

Only complaint is evening meal very little choice otherwise a great hotel in a good location

Schöner als erwartet.
Rezeption: seht sehr freundlicher junger mann, wenn man was nicht verstanden hat oder fragen hatte, hat er einen herzlich aufgeklärt und wir wurden auch herzlich aufgenommen.
Zimmer: wir kamen rein und haben uns direkt verliebt. Das Badezimmer war ein Traum. Das Bett super bequem. Kleiner Kühlschrank drin wo wir direkt unsere Getränke reingestellt haben.
Umgebung: man erreicht hier einiges zu Fuß und wir haben es auch schnell gefunden.
Pool und sauna: super schön nur der Pool war kälter als erwartet aber das hat uns nicht gestört ist im Schwimmbad ja auch so.
Kann mich nicht beklagen über dieses hotel und empfehle es weiter und würde auch wieder kommen.

Neues, modernes Zimmer. Sehr freundliches und hilfreiches Personal. SPA-Bereich ist in Ordnung, sauber aber alles etwas älter. Gesamtes Preisleistungsverhältnis ist top! Leckeres Frühstück. Gerne wieder!

Wir waren nun schon öfter hier, das erste mal 2016. Ja, seither ist der Wellnessbereich und Zimmer auch gealtert. Aber alles nutzbar. Das Personal ist unverändert freundlich und zuvorkommend. Aber der eigentlich Kracher war bisher immer das Abendessen. Ambiente, Bedingung und geschmacklich bisher immer ein Erlebnis. Unbedingt zu empfehlen! Lachs zum Frühstück ist auch eine Ausnahmeerscheinung - toll!
