Munich International Airport

An extremely amazing airport terminals, duty free market is awesome and contains all products you may think off. Staff are cooperative as long as they can understand you because of my little German. Airport transportation is very close to the terminals with lots of ticket vending machines that alleviate any congestion. I loved Munich airport than most airports I have visited before.

It is always a pleasure to have a layover here. The airport is clean, quiet and well organized. Very well connected to the city center by train or bus. It has many relaxing and sleeping areas, even some booths (napcabs) that you can rent for a minimum of 2 hours. It is also possible to take a shower if you want.
For the ones of you who want to work or have an online meeting, this airport is a great choice as it is not so crowded neither too loud.

Efficient, clean airport with very supportive staff. The digital information kiosks dotted around the airport are especially notable since you are immediately connected to a person who can help, and having used one I think all airports should have this. Good selection of shops and signage into the airport (if you're driving as I was) is easy to follow as car rental returns have their own clearly marked lanes. Good airport to travel through.

Very well organized Airport. It is super clean and nice. Plenty places to rest and food corners are great. The only place where Cafe corners expire me.

The open space between the Trainstation Airport Munich / Terminal 1 and the new Terminal 2 is an astonishing architecture.
The square is half covered by a dynamic open tent and surrounded by impressive buildings and the Bavarian beer garden Airbräu.
Above the entrance of Terminal 2 are always huge impressive advertisements that changing from time to time.
I always have to stop for a while before I have to get my flight to enjoy this very special view. Great under every weather condition.

Airport is much cleaner. There are resting areas in each terminal. It is possible to use trains and buses within the airport in order to move through different terminals. Charging points are available within the seating area. Work stations are also available in some of the selected areas.

Have been to Munich airport few times, and everytime it is same good quality of service, cleanliness and calm. Easily one of my favorite airports around the globe.

So clean! So we’ll air conditioned! Easy to get help! Lovely shops! Clean bathrooms! Be aware you will have to go through extra checkpoints if you are flying to America… no big deal, but if you want to shop, shop first! Then go to your gate with an hour to wait! They do have restrooms after the second checkpoint, but no shops, and only two very limited food options. Thank you for the clean airport!

Beautiful, huge, comfortable, organized space, planned in detail. An incredible pleasure to arrive and be greeted by a Christmas mood with a market and an ice rink.

Couple from Singapore, transit at Munich to Helsinki. After 13 hrs from Singapore, immediately find toilets to freshen up. The airport has designated smoking room, which is convenient for smokers after long flight. What we didn't expect due to our inexperiences, the immigration counters will have long queues if you proceed late, plus our departure gate K need to transfer by airport train, we nearly miss our connecting flight. Other than that everything is good.

Big international airport. Better pay attention on signs properly, to find right gate without going back and walking around too much.

Airport is located quite far from Munchen.

Nice airport high tech toilets, hand senses in the sink to wash your hands. The trolleys have a map on them controlled by a tablet and then a map will show you to your gate. These a children’s play area in terminal 2 and these a shower room which is useful.

Its a piece of art probably the biggest in Europe, really nice design really clean, nice and tidy toilets many option to keep the child busy, still need to have more shops and more charging points in this time when all of are are using lots of gadgets.

Munich Airport is an all around great and clean airport! I was here over 5 hours waiting for a connecting flight. Plenty of shops restaurant and lounges available.

The airport is relatively easy to navigate as an English speaker. There are a few places to eat, rest, shop and lots of clean bathrooms scattered everywhere. Everything appears to be in good repair and is clean. Coffee stations are scattered throughout the terminals too.

Nice but big airport. When you have to change terminal for connection Flight, count around 20 min. But very good organisation with free shuttle etc

I loved this airport, very clean, organised, well presented information, delicious sandwiches, lots of seating areas. Checkin could be done online or by self check in machines, the border officers were very respectful and very welcoming.

Much organised, wide open, airy, bright and full of facilities. Staff is much helpful.
Airport has good connection of train service which is around 25mins away from the main city.
Really like duty free shop and drink place. Plenty of eating & drinking places around.
There are long queues because of international airport but they have more windows to handle that easily.

Lovely clean, highly automated airport. Whilst this may suit some folks, there where a lot of foreign language people asking questions as even I felt the signage was inadequate. All these things considered it was still a great experience, these are the airports of the future.

Clean, spacious. Friendly Immigration officer, easy to find our connection. Large duty-free area plus food courts and multiple clean toilets. Even has indoor smoking lounges.
