Had a lovely stay. The services were great from checking in to checking out, and the breakfast services were very friendly and fast. The buffet was amazing.
The room was very clean, the bathroom was top clean, very modern! But the furnished in the room itself, where very old style and the dark brown colour make it look old fashion. Otherwise, we enjoy our one night away. Thanks

Spent 5 nights here in December during the Christmas Market. Great stay. Very walkable for the downtown and markets. Older Hilton but very comfortable and clean with a luxury feel to it. Beds and pillows were amazing. We loved the pillows so much we ordered a set of them when we got home. Breakfast was amazing and was included with our Diamond Status. All the staff we encountered were professional and efficient. The executive lounge needs some help but I was told that they are working on a new lounge so looking forward to seeing that. The parking was expensive so we parked across the street where it was at least 10 Euro cheaper per day. I wouldn't subtract a star for that but would hope that Hilton could agree that their own parking is too high for the area they service. Overall highly recommend :-)

My parents just stayed at this hotel and very much enjoyed it. The service was exemplary as the staff were kind and very accommodating! From the front desk to concierge to the staff at the restaurant, they were all incredibly professional and helpful! The early checkin was appreciated! The bed was comfortable and the view from the room was beautiful. They will definitely stay again!

Fantastic hotel on the Rhine and close walking to cafés, shops and all the fun of Mainz. Executive lounge and breakfast included for Diamonds are both top quality. Friendly staff, immaculate rooms and overall a great experience. This was my second stay and won't be my last. Highly recommended!

I had a very satisfying two night stay at this property. I received a very generous upgrade that certainly enhanced my experience, but even without it, all staff interactions were too notch, especially those I had with Moana. What a friendly and vivacious FDA!

Location on the river can't be beat, and if you're lucky enough to get a room with a view to the Rhine, you can appreciate watching the barges and river cruise boats meander by. You can also get seating in the restaurant with the same views.

My suite was in excellent condition, having been recently redecorated. It was airy and bright, with plenty of space to both work and relax. The bathroom featured both a tub and a separate shower. The bed was really so comfortable, that it was difficult getting up for breakfast in the morning.

There is now an Executive Lounge at the hotel, although the temporary location has limited space and offerings. I'll be anxious to experience the permanent EL, once it comes to fruition. Dinner at the restaurant was very good. I usually have the Weiner Schnitzel, and always find it delicious.

Truthfully, the hotel is a viable option for getting to the Frankfurt airport, as it's only a few stops away on the S-bahn. A few more and you're at the Frankfurt hbf.

I certainly cannot think of any reason not to return.

You truly can not get any better here in Mainz! From the spacious rooms, to the restaurant (especially that incredible breakfast buffet!) , to the unbeatable hospitality from the staff, Hilton Mainz will not let you down. Everyone is so friendly and speaks so many different languages. Truly a gem located directly on the beautiful River.

If you are traveling to Mainz, this Hilton is a great place to stay!
I would start by talking about the location, with beautiful views of the Rhine River and minutes to walk to shops and the historic district, but the outstanding service is truly the highlight.
The team members are true hospitality professionals. Every encounter was friendly and welcoming. The star was Deniz, who works evenings in the restaurant on the lobby level. She is not only an outstanding professional but genuinely kind and caring. Deniz made us look forward to going to the restaurant nightly during our stay. We were warmly greeted by her, and she made us feel like we were being invited into her home.
The same could be said of the breakfast and front desk teams.
And speaking of breakfast, wow! The breakfast buffet is outstanding! Unbelievable selection and quality with a focus on substantial locally sought food. The breakfast staff are as amazing as the food. The hostess that greets you daily, a lovely lady from Columbia, is a treasure.
The accommodations were clean and daily stay over service impeccable.
I always say a hotel needs two things to be successful: Clean and Friendly, and the Mainz Hilton has them both.
Traveling tip: The hotel has two buildings. One across the street connected by an enclosed glass walkway on the 2nd floor. If you're not able to walk distances, then request to be in the main building. We found it to be fine as it was quiet, and the gym is on that side, plus you can exit and enter directly into that building from the city.

This is my first visit ever to Germany 🇩🇪 and we are Diamond members and this is the best hotel and best hospitality we have ever experienced! Their rooms are super clean and spacious. Their breakfast is the BEST breakfast that I have ever had!!!! And because we are diamond members, we also got a beautiful view of the Rhine River and free finger foods and drinks in the executive lounge from 6-8pm!

Also,all of the employees were very nice and accommodating!

I was only here for 1 night because flight cancellations and delays shaved a few days off of my trip, but the time I did spend here was lovely. The hotel is well kept, the suite I was in was gorgeous with a lovely view of the river. The bathroom was large and clean. The breakfast buffet had lots of options and was delicious. There was a slight billing error when I checked out, but the manager, Monika Roll, was super helpful and responsive in getting it fixed.

Great hotel, new clean rooms, amazing breakfast and so so impressed by how welcoming the hotel was for kids! The kids loved doing the scavenger hunt, it was really fun. Malika was so kind and took time to check their answers officially and give an official stamp and treat! They absolutely loved it!!! Definitely best hotel with kids!

Deniz needs to get a pay raise. She did an excellent job as a bartender accommodating about 20 rowdy Americans. I can't believe how professional she is. We love her.

Incredible location and incredible value for the location!! One of the most beautiful spots for a Hilton ever - perfectly picturesque along the Rhine River, especially in the early summertime with the cool breeze blowing off the river in the morning while sitting at the outdoor tables at breakfast. Loved the smaller-town feeling of this city and this hotel. Breakfast was peaceful and offered a nice variety, something for everyone. We could walk to everywhere - along the Rhine, to the shops and restaurants in the old part of the city, and even to the train stations. Bike rental was across the street so we took advantage and biked along the Rhine for miles. Daniela at the front desk checked us in and valued us as Diamond members giving us a suite upgrade. The best part - is the hotel pricing was entirely reasonable for the location. We enjoyed our time so much that we extended our stay from 2 days to 5! Will definitely return.

I have stayed in this hotel since 1977 while traveling for business. It has grown quite large over the years but still maintains excellent service. Breakfast overlooking the Rhine is not to be missed. Many of the staff remember me by name and are always accommodating. I experienced a death in my family while staying here and the hotel manager and concierge personally came to me to advise me and to assist with arrangements to return to the US. I shall always remember their kindness and empathy.

The place is awesome, clean and short distance to places we like.The surroundings are clean and the workers are attentive to your needs.It’s a definitely be recommended.

Fantastic Hilton if you're in the area. One of the best Hilton breakfasts I've ever had. Great location on the river and just a short walk to the city center, many restaurants, shops and parks. Even the train station isn't that far away. This is my go to hotel in the greater Mainz area! I will be back.

We started a bespoke @Gate1 tour here, and it was perfect for our family. Early check in (after a red eye from the states), great service and the beds were excellent. Buffet breakfast and dinner were outstanding as well. Located right on the river and just blocks from the old city. Highly recommend.
