Nice area for a nice breedge. Climb top the triangle thing and eye up the sorrouding of Bottrop. Metal stairs on the way, and an iconic (overhead) bridge would add up some nice photos in your gallery for sure.

Make it in the bucket list and hit it for a hike or jogging or some refreshment.

I've seen one of the best sunsets of my life here.

There's no entry fee for visiting this structure. It's open to all and open at all times but be cautious as you would have to trek to that place. Access by vehicle is also possible but I would recommend walking up to the point.

Sunset from here was so beautiful and calm. No sound pollution what so ever. One side there was sunset filling the sky with colors and on the other side, full moon with non disturbing smoke coming up from a chimney. I was lucky to be visiting exactly that time.

Walking trail is also very beautiful. You'll notice the petroleum pipes around the trail. They also add beauty and uniqueness to the place.

Highly recommend visiting this place on a weekday in the evenings!

After a ten minute walk up the hill directly by stairs or in circles on a way, you can get to this interesting building.
The view from the hill is already stunning. If you get on of the plateaus or even on the top of the Tetraeder, the view get‘s even better.
I can really recommend this spot for a walk to enjoy the view and the sound of the Ruhr area.

It is a nice place to trekking, picnic and viewing the city from top of the structure.
Free parking is also available.

Towards the SOUTH, the hills and mountains of the Sauerland & Bergisches Land develop from the RUHR AREA, while towards the NORTH the RUHR AREA becomes flatter and flatter ending in the large flat North Germany Plane and the North Sea .... if it weren't for the "HALDEN" of the MINING AREAS, which can rise up to 170 meters above the landscape - a really worthwhile goal for little "mountain foxes and climbers"! I managed to climb up the TETRAEDER together with my BLUE SKYE BIKE an ride a CIRCLE between HEAVEN and EARTH in 60 meters height !

A very interesting place. Parking is free of charge, 20min walking up to the peak. A very special place to view the whole industrial place. Not very crowded.

Perfect for anyone that likes Heights! Its exhausting to climb up the 190 meters but the view on top of the Tetraeder is absolutely worth it! But if you’re scared of heights you better not go on top of it

Take a shortcut straight up the hill to reach the monument in less than 10 minutes (albeit sweaty, depending on your fitness). I suggest going on a weekday, otherwise it can be quite crowded. Viewing the sunset is great from up top.

Great sight, and there is a very nice currywurst shop nearby (Imbiss am Tetraeder)

Interesting. Great view over the surrounding cities. Take some water and a hat it's about a half hour walk not much shade on the east side track and the west side track is steeper but more shade.

A place worth a visit 100% i went there when it was after rain so it was just amazing and the wind and everything definitely worth visiting again

Amazing view and totally worth all the steps up! We got a little lost so it’s better to look for Diretissima Tetraeder, and go up the steps from there to the sculpture.

A really good place for cycling and chilling with beautiful mind blowing view over the all Ruhr-Gebiet.

Feels like on the mars :-) Great views and a really clean area. The environment is great for a walk. There are a lot of parking possibilities around the place.

Don't be scared when it's windy at the night. It was amazing, worth the effort

Such a nice and interesting point

A really great experience and a fun hour or so outing on a nice day. The Tetraeder itself is quite a walk up from the car park (maybe 20 minutes). Tetraeder itself only takes 10 minutes to walk up. Incredible views! The middle platform shakes a bit so can understand why others have said it is not advised for those who are afraid of heights.

Just a small hike and then you're right in front of an magnificent architecture. If you're afraid of heights, man you'll be having fun as you climb up you can see down and realize the people down look like a small ant.
