Finally made my way to Niederegger! Countless times I've been advised to come here (big lover of Marzipan), and it didn't disappoint. The store is extremely charming, especially with all the Christmas decorations up. I got a big marzipan box to share with friends and also an advent calendar for myself. I got a delicious coffee as well in the Cafe. Checking out, despite the long line, was very quick. I will be returning, and if you're a Marzipan fan, go to Lübeck!

A cosy café to have the best of cakes and coffee. There is also a nice museum one floor above the cafe. The cafe attracts huge crowd and you need to be patient to have your order served. Nevertheless, I would recommend this cafe to anyone visiting Lübeck :) The prices are very reasonable.

While visiting Lubeck we just walked passed this shop and I had no idea about this place. But the shop looked so beautiful and inviting that I had to enter. Made me feel like a 10 year old in candy shop. It's was beautiful and everything looked tempting. Definitely buy thr Praline. Check the photographs

Hands down the best dessert I've had! The store below is a treasure for marzipan lovers and the cafe above has a lot to offer.

The stammhaus is the main Niederegger store. Upstairs is the sit down coffee restaurant with the world's best delights in cakes, tortes, sweets and light meals (waffles, soups, etc) and of course: great coffee.
Downstairs is the big shop of all things marzipan and other sweet gifts for all occasions great and small.
All products freshly made in the marzipan factory with unchanged original recipes. Museum of marzipan is also upstairs.
In addition: outside accessible ice cream shop.

Really nice atmosphere and delicious deserts. I'm personally not a marzipan fan, but their deserts with marzipan was delicious and moderate with sugar. 5 stars experience for me for sure!

It's a very nice place to have breakfast in, providing an assortment of sweet selections and less of savoury but just as good. The view is nice, the décor is lovely, and the atmosphere is great, you could see that they'd put a lot of thought into every elements of the café. Above everything, the food is just magnificent. I really love high-tea style breakfast, and the marzipan-infused coffee (their specialty, I presume) tastes good, albeit a tad too sweet for our liking. The can of coffee from our breakfast evened it out, but on its own it's practically diabetes in a cup. All in all, very good, would go again.

Super famous Marzipane shop with various options. We visited both on Saturday and Sunday. Will recommend to come here on Sunday, less people and cozier. The price might seems to higher than the average, but the decorations inside were amazing. The cafe here was also nice. Both sides of the shop offer different cakes, better check both options before you make your decision. The Marzipane hot chocolate was really tasty. Definitely worth to try it.

A dream come true - I love love love Marzipan. Obviously we needed to visit Niederegger while visiting Lübeck.

It looks so grand and if you walk out not finding anything, then I can't help you 🤣 I recommend to go right when they open, so you do not need to wait in line and believe me there is one later on.

You can have breakfast there or try one of their absolutely beautiful cakes. They taste even better then they look, if that is even possible.

Go visit and get your fill of marzipan everything 😁

I like their marzipan version compared to the real original marzipan. It's more tourist oriented, souvenir oriented and makes for the best gifts. They also have a gift wrapping counter!

I would like to add my favourite flavours: I always choose the "pick and mix" boxes and choose 2 each of Classic, Hazelnut cafe latte, dark chocolate praline, orange classic. The diversity in taste as well as colours forms the perfect gift!

Cute and delicious. But caution! The desserts and food is filling. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT EAT TOO MUCH normal food, leave room for the signature marzipan cake! The place is kid friendly and you can eat here any time of the day. You can also reserve a table

Great experience. Lovely, friendly staff who spoke enough English to get by. We had the soup which was very tasty. Cakes were really good - big range to suit our group's differing tastes. Worth getting there early in busy times. Highly recommended if visiting Lubeck.

It was an absolute delight going to this place. The aesthetics, the food, the people. It's all so good and professional. The cakes are also amazing. I went here twice and loved it both times.

OMG, best best chocolate shop, I ever visited. It is famous for its marzipan production. I tried first time marzipan cappuccino here, and tasty. Best interior in the shop. You can different items made by marzipan here. I really love this place. For more photos, check out my instagram: @travelwithdivy

The ambience was very good and cozy. We had a relaxing time in this Café Shop. In addition, the drinks and the cake were absolutely outstanding and the price were appropriate. I wish I could go back again. Definitely highly recommend!!!

Ice cream is 1 euro a scoop, delicious as well!

Lots of marzipan choices as others have said. There is a machine in the back where you can try answering 4 questions correct in a row to win 2 marzipan pieces-a good way to try marzipan out if you've never had it before!

This is such a beautiful traditional German cafe with the best cakes. If you happen to be in the area (or ie around Hamburg) you must definitely visit. You can easily spend 3 hours in this cafe. On the ground floor is a marzipan (almond/sugar/chocolate) shop that also has fancy liquors, jams, icecreams, and biscuits for take away in fancy Niederegger bags / cool bags. The cafe in the back is the "fast/quick" cafe. If you walk the staircase one level up you arrive to the "fancy" cafe. You will be greated by a glass vitrine full of fancy cakes and tartes (also for take away). To the right you can enter the restrooms. The visible fancy-looking cleaners there are self employed and live off your donations so we usually give 1-2 €. the most popular seating in the cafe is if you walk to the very end glass windows with a view over Luebeck and the unique architecture. Again I would recommend a corner seat sourrounded by glass / the city. On your table you will find many menues and it is worth also looking at the snack section of the drinks menue as they have lovely things like fresh waffle with whipped cream and cherries, Fresh hot milk rice pudding with cherries and cinnamon and sugar, and alot of marzipan inspired hot drinks. The quality of the food is superb. The staff is dressed in fancy traditional cafe wear. You can read about the marzipan and niederegger cafe history from the brochures on your table and also head up the staircase behind the cake bar to enter a Marzipan Museum with a beautiful view over Luebeck and instagrammable picture walls. Hope this helps #ingavardhan @IngaVardhan
