I never cease to amaze how cool the Germans present galleries, museums, etc. Here you can find answers to all professions and how everything works. A lot of interactive things. Cool for adults and children. You will stay there for at least 3 hours🔥

Friendly staff who could mostly speak English, made this a very enjoyable experience. Lots of hands-on fun for everyone. Easy to recommend, enjoyed a solid 90 minutes there myself. Not every exhibit was working, but that is like most museums. Still worth making the short trip out of the city centre.

an outstanding museum. I was there two years ago when it was just inaugurated and was more than amazed by the new exhibitions and elements DASA people managed to add in 26 months. DO NOT miss the Biomechanic exhibition. Do not forget to try landing and Airbus330 in Cologne Airport...

One of the best sights in Dortmund! Dasa is a truly unique museum dedicated to the various different kinds of jobs. It is a big museum with a free entry! There are exhibits about pilots, machinery, production, relax, etc. Moreover, kids seem to love it. The main attraction in my opinion is the production robot which executes commands and sort of dances! I haven't seen anything like it, it is truly unique. I will definitely remember it. Dasa's only disadvantage is it's terrible location. It is far away from the city but it's still manageable. Overall, a must-see museum in Dortmund!

Such a fun place to visit with kids. It's best suited for kids over 5 but younger kids also have things to enjoy. We couldn't see everything in 2 hours but great value for money

The most underrated attraction in Dortmund. This place is full of amazing interactive exhibition items including a flight simulator and a letterpress. Almost everything in the museum you can touch or play with! I spent about 2 hours here and it was definitely not enough time to explore it all. It's all in German but luckily I had a German friend with me to translate. I think without him I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much because there's lots of interesting info you miss out on.

Fun activities that also help learn about the different working worlds. It's well maintained and clean. Lockers are available for storing your bag and jacket during the visit! Bathrooms are clean too! Great for groups, also very fun for kids!

Very nice modern museum, a lot of stuff to watch and to do. Considering the price, it's simply amazing. Price/Emotions ratio is second to none! :)

Really interesting museum, it's huge though so make sure you plan a full day. Lots of interesting things to see, just one thing to note though, none of the signs or films are in English so you may not be able to find out as much as you'd like if you can't speak/read/understand German. Be sure to check out the 3d demo of the International Space Station. Amazing!

FASCINATING place to visit and see how people did things. I HIGHLY recommend this place for any and all tourists visiting the Ruhrgebiet area, and for natives of Dortmund, as well. I was especially fascinated by the weaving machinery, in operation as I watched.

Great museum about work, technology and people through the ages. Quite cheap for its size.

Broad base of science covered in this exciting Exhibition.

My favourite was control tower and pushing tin experience at the aviation exhibits.

A great place to bring young children for a day of exploring.

I went here for the first time and found it to be a great collection of artifacts and information on German work history, safety, and culture. It also had great activities, puzzles, and experiences to demonstrate many different things about the human body. I highly recommend a visit.

The cafeteria had decent and reasonably priced food options for when we took our lunch break.

Loved it...initially we were not expecting much from the museum as the name suggested more work safety and other things. But the museum is more than that and it is appealing to children as well as adults. Due to time limitations we couldn't see all but planned to go once again. I recommend this for all.

Big Museum with interesting stuff for technically-minded kids and adults.
Changing exhibitions that also deal with modern day trends.
Entrance prices are more than reasonable.
