Moravian Karst

One of the most beautiful places near Brno. Amazing views inside the cave and also guided tour in Czech and English languages. I would say it is quite rare to see well preserved karsts nowadays, which makes them more unique. I would also recommend to book tickets to the caves in advance.

A beautiful place to walk. The tram/lift to the top is fast and allows you to look into the abyss you will see later on the tour. The tour is through a narrow walk way with many stairs, and a boat ride! Loved this tour. It was in Czech, but our friends translated the important parts. Nice gemstone gift shop, too.

This was one of the best experiences ever! We had a guide take us from Brno to the caves. So glad she handled the specifics. (as most areas there cash is king) We took the little train up to the cave entrance. The English phamplet described each spot perfectly. The boat ride out was awesome! Seeing the bottom of the abyss was beautiful! We rode the cable car up and viewed the abyss from above. Overall nice experience and peaceful. Would strongly recommend.

A very amazing place which you must see if you are close to Brno. And remember to book the tickets in advance, because you will otherwise risk to wait for several hours before you're granted access.

Wonderful! Awesome! Reachable with public transport from Blansko. There is a guided tour through the caves of Macocha, in part on foot and in part on the boat.

It's an amazing lovley place we really enjoyed it we saw everything but unfortunately we didn't understand anything because there was no translater , but again it is a lovley place and still worth it to visit 😉

Amazing and nice trip. You can go to Punkava Cave, Catherine Cave and some other. Need to book tickes online or at the entrance. Weekends sometimes the tickets will be gone soon. Go early there. Will take more time to walk.

Easy to access from Brno using bus number 201 from Stara Osada. Easy access to the caves. Good for children.

Amazing place, highly recommend

Well worth your time while in the Czech Republic. The caves sit within a beautiful nature reserve, itself full of beautiful sights and fantastic walking trails. Not to be missed, though, are the cave tours available in the area. Punkva was a particular favourite. If the water levels cooperate, the tour culminates in a boat trip through the winding path of the Punkva River. As a note, many of the tours are not in English. The tours are still well worth it.

Awesome. 5+ large caves can be visited and hundreds of small caves can be individually explored - if you can find them. Also nice hike trails and bike routes.

Such an amazing cave complex with an underground river boat ride and unbelievable natural beauty. It is definately an experience to savour if you love unspoilt nature.
