Přírodní Koupaliště Jureček

A huge positive surprise near Prague. People, this swimming lake is a hidden gem.

If it's really hot in summer, any body of water in Prague or around it gets absolutely overwhelmed by hordes of humans. Or it's unfairly expensive. Or both.

So it was a shock to travel 5 minutes away from Prague and find this natural pond sorrounded by forests, for 50 CZK entrance fee, with free parking nearby and enough space for you to sunbathe and swim around.

The water is reasonably clean and gets deeper very very slowly, so it's suitable for kids and disabled people (as a matter of fact, I was there with one broken leg and it was fine). The area also includes a czech-style fast food kiosk, where you can grab food and basic drinks (beer, coffee) and a small court for ball games (e.g. voleyball) for free.

And if you're into fancier food, there is much better restaurant just outside of the entrance where you can get fancier meals.

Please, just don't tell anybody about it.

Parádní přírodní Koupaliště s dražší restaurací (s výtečnou kuchyní) a levnějším kioskem s nižšími cenami. Obojí nabízí venkovní posezení. Místo proslulo už za první republiky. Stálým hostem tu býval například herec Oldřich Nový, který tu měl rezervovanou i vlastní kabinu. I později plovárnu navštěvovaly hudební a filmové hvězdy, jako Waldemar Matuška, Karel Heřmánek, Václav Postránecký nebo Radoslav Brzobohatý. V době mé návštěvy ještě nebyla sezóna rozjetá, tak bylo na březích pár lidí, což jsem uvítal - byl tu klid. Za krásného počasí tu zřejmě bývá narváno. Část koupaliště obklopuje krásný vzrostlý les, který vám poskytne stín, pokud by na vás slunce bylo až moc.

Awesome natural swimming pool with a more expensive restaurant (with excellent cuisine) and a cheaper kiosk with lower prices. Both offer outdoor seating. At the time of my visit, the season was not yet in full swing, so there were few people on the shores, which I welcomed: it was sooooo quiet here. Apparently it gets crowded when the weather is nice... Part of the swimming pool is surrounded by a beautiful mature forest, which provides shade if the sun gets too much for you. The famous actor Oldřich Nový used to be a regular guest here, and had his own cabin reserved here.

Fajn koupání - rybník s pozvolným vstupem a upraveným dnem podél břehu. Travnatá pláž je upravená s dostatkem stínu díky občasným stromům. V areálu je dobře zásobený kiosek, sprchy, wc převlékací kabinky. Hned vedle areálu restaurace a jen malý kousek zmrzka;). Parkoviště také nechybí...

V Říčanech najdete přírodní koupaliště Jureček s nádechem první republiky, voda je vždy čistá a trochu chladnější, v restauraci výborně vaří a k dispozici je i bufet rychlého občerstvení. Zkrátka neváhejte.

Krásné přírodní koupaliste, voda celkem studená. Fajn kiosek, málo lidi, parádní místo pro relax.

Skvěle situované místo pro klidnou večeři, či zábavu s přáteli. Senzační obsluha, skvěle jídlo i piti.
