Chateau Zábřeh

I ate in the restaurant, I have no experience on the hotel.
Food was amazing and two course meal was too much for me on portion size - the tartar is pretty large starter :). Not recommended if you are on a diet :). Tartar one of the best I have ever eaten. Good local food.

We went to the beer spa and the restaurant and both were above expectation!

The spa is a nice experience, you get 30 minutes in the tub where you can drink beer and relax. There are some nice oils in the water that make your skin soft like a baby. Afterwards you get a very relaxing 20 minute massage.

The dinner was also great. The waiter spoke English and the menu also had an English translation, it had a nice variety of options to choose from as well. The ambience outside is also very nice, feels a bit like some nature in the city. Would recommend this place!

We went here for both the beerspa and the food, as we were staying a few days in Ostrava and wanted to have a relaxing day inbetween all the exploring.

The spa experience was really good. On arrival we got guided to the spa and the bath was prepared with special oil/herbs. We got 30 minutes in the tub with unlimited beer on tap. Afterwards we both got a relaxing 20 minute massage, where we could choose the massage and the types of oil used. The room itself has a romantic and calming atmosphere as well with the candle lights and music.

We also reserved a table for after the spa and enjoyed some great food with a good wine. Staff was very friendly and spoke English which to me is always a plus. We even got an extra piece of dessert on the house. Would visit again and a recommendation from me.

We shared a wonderful meal here with family. Fantastic choice of traditional Czech cuisine, featuring locally sourced foods. Refreshing drinks and beers from their on site brewery are a must, and well worth a sample.
Friendly and attentive staff, and prompt service left us with a fantastic and pleasant experience.

We has a beautiful lunch here at the weekend.
Highly recommend everything on the menu.
Try the beer brewed on site, the dark beer is a personal favourite.
Svičková was excellent with homemade dumplings
Pork schnitzel was proper Austrian style and as big as the plate!

Excellent food with very reasonable prices. We had an excellent lunch (with desert and beverages) for three for approximately 56 euros. It is a little off the beaten path but worth the diversion to eat here. The restaurant was filled with local clientele (a good sign) but all of my servers spoke great english. Quality and the taste of the food was excellent! Highly recommend!!!!!

Very good restaurant and very stylish hotel with themed rooms and great service. Were not in for wellness, but had a bit of their cosmetics on room and they were nice.

The place next to park makes you forget you are in middle of Ostrava and the highway is very close for quick access.

Beer spa - great experience! Great Picard beer, excellent service. Outdoor cinema in summer, playing Czech movies.

We had a wedding here, a fantastic atmosphere and perfect service! Still one of the best hotels and restaurants in the city!

It was not only one of the best hotel experience I had lately (firt time in a while the hotel looked exactly the same on Booking and in live), but also absolutely stunning food experience! The restaurant serves local dishes prepared in modern way. It's fresh and delicious. Also, the stuff is super friendly and polite.

The Zamek Zábřeh is one of our favorite places. Fantastic food and beer - very high quality Czech cuisine. Really cool theme rooms if you are looking to stay the night. The beer bath is also pretty spectacular.

Amazing restaurant, attentive service, very good food. We had the deer back as a starter, beef cheek and venison gulaš as a main, and apple strudel and chocolate cake with black pepper ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious with quality ingredients for a very fair price. Would absolutely recommend

This place is surprisingly nice! The room we had on the 2nd floor was very small, but romantic and cosy. I very much enjoyed it. Breakfast isn't lavish, but very much ok, you feel like a medieval knight with all the heavy wooden chairs, tables and pictures on the wall. The owners renovated this place from a ruin and they did a great job! The outdoor seating of the restaurant is an especially nice place in the summer.

This is a beautiful castle, in the Czech style, that has been remodelled and renovated. It is great to stay here. The rooms are each interesting and unique. The service is good and the restaurant serves very good food.

Consommé with liver dumplings is outstanding! Otherwise the food is great but not memorable. Good beer. Good serving, nice atmosphere. Not a fine dining place, but probably one of the best in Ostrava.

I'm in one of the attic rooms on my own. Lovely room and bathroom. Very comfortable. Would rate it very highly. Very spacious and 2 single beds pushed together. Perfect.

Wonderful food. Knedliki are amazing - both bread and potatoe ones. All kinds of meat - ale delicious and prepared perfect. Also they make beer!

As always the food and service were amazing. We were a group of 12 and everyone agreed, as they always do, the everything was perfect

If you want to try the real Czech food go to this place. Delicious food, good beer in a beatiful interior. In the summer they have a wonderful garden open. I like this place very much.

I was looking for stay overnight on my way and I didn't expect much, but this hotel is just great. The room is huge as the bathroom as well. Very good comfy bed and nice breakfast. Totally recommend it.

It's a nice little old chateau and the rooms are decorated as such. Imo the Africa room is the best. The staff is very kind and professional. I totally recommend this place.
