Military Museum Lešany

Phenomenal. Free admission on top of the insane amount of vehicles and weapons you can see here. This museum has a huge amount of vehicles and armaments from the early 1900’s to modern day. If you are in Prague or nearby, this is definitely worth the trip, you can easily spend an entire afternoon here. You can grab a bite to eat here as well for cheap. I highly recommend visiting.

I went to Lešany tank museum for the annual tank days, and had a great time. I did not get to see many of the static displays but the ones that I did see (in particular the anti-air defense units) were in excellent condition and were awesome! The tank day itself was spectacular and is worth coming to Prague for by itself.

Based museum with a lot of tanks, solid and rare lineup and a lot more to offer. The whole thing isn't too huge and it should be one place to visit at least once. Shows you how huge some weapons really are in retrospective overall great museum 9/10

The largest military museum in central Europe. Only museum outside of Israel presenting functional Merkava main battle tank.

A must for the army fan. Nice preserved vehicles from 1914~now. Tanks, canons, comunication. Wheelchair access, exelent for kids. Free w.c. free plenty parking just outside of the gate of the army base.
Read the sings, some are rare pieces of exhibition for those who understand.

Perfect for armour lovers, although a bit of background knowledge is useful.

Because a lot of exhibits are outside i can recommend bringing a raincoat when rain is forecasted ;)

More interesting than I ever imagined. And it is gratis! A must to visit and worth the drive even from Prague! I addition its location is in a beautiful landscape. And, there is a canteen with great beer ;) Try Muflon!

Huge, if your interested in military vehicles it must be the best museum in the Czech Republic for tank enthusiasts. Make sure you give it at least three hours to get the most out of it.

Surprisingly great place to visit. A lot of military vehicles, tanks, rockets, etc. Absolutely must visit for military fans.

Old and new Anti Tank Systems

Piece of military history. Lots of tanks, guns, rockets etc. Small shop with toys for kids. My two little boys were really excited and loved it. We will definitely come back again. And entrance is free ;)

Amazing place for kids, directions are in english and czech personnel's are nice and speaks English, there's refreshments but don't expect alot just good for snacks bring and bring cash 😉

The only thing to improve would be more attractions children can actually climb on and play with. Amazing place to spend whole afternoon.
