Exceptional combination of interesting history, stunning sculpting talent and superhuman effort from the sick artist, enthusiasm and dedication of from the patron.
All this is enhanced by the creativity, enthusiasm and sacrifice of current operators - descendants of the actors and creators of the work.
I'm happy to be back here with my children and friends.

Me and my parents visited this place while I was in the Czech republic during my holiday. Surrounding area is very nice, you can visit lookout tower on the hill and sensual garden especially created for the blind people but everyone can have a good time there.
The knights were created by a young local man, he was a talented self-taught sculptor, who created remarkable works before the end of his tragically short life; he died in 1931 from tuberculosis, before completing the Blanik knights.
The sculptures inside are impressive, both for their large size and realistic look. A statue of St. Wenceslas, the commander of the legendary sleeping army, is depicted on horseback. Guarding the entrance of the cave is another statue, of a giant lion.
His first work on this spot was actually a larger-than-life statue of Thomas Masaryk, the first president of independent Czechoslovakia. It stood 10.5 meters but unfortunately was destroyed during World War II. Only the boots of the original statue remain. Luckily, the knights in the cave were untouched, and have stayed in their sleeping state up to this day.

Interesting place and story connected to the place. Overall lovely experience.

Měly jsme štěstí a paní nás provedla, i když mají přes prosinec zavřeno (na Google špatně uvedeno, že mají otevřeno). Krásná udržovaná zahrada i jeskyně, kde na Vás dýchne velký kus historie. Jsem ráda, že člověk svou návštěvou může taková vzácná místa podpořit.

Moc jsme si prohlídku jeskyně i zahrady užili při cestě domů z dovolené. Pochvalu posílám tímto pruvodkyni, která velmi poutavě a příjemně vyprávěla zajímavý a trošku i smutný příběh z historie a jejich účastnících. Upřímně ,spousta informací vyrazí dech. Klobouk dolů a uctění památky tvůrcům z minulostí.
Skvělý zážitek, krasné místo. Děkujeme :)

Krásně strávené 2 hodiny. Zdejší zahrádka je veliká, cesty upravené, můžete si připlatit za rozhlednu, jeskyně je s výkladem, slečna byla milá a sympatická a výklad byl také příjemný a uzpůsoben i pro děti.
Součástí areálu je i smyslová zahrada vytvořena původně pro nevidomé, kde je pro ně i speciální mapa.
