Sonberk

A perfect stopover to chill and taste it’s beautifully crafted Sonberk wine. I must admit I’m a teetotaller but I managed to complete 5 rounds of wine tasting. As an art and design person, I was completely mesmerised with the picturesque landscape; especially viewed from its terraces overlooking the vineyards admiring the works of art and nature. Highly recommended for anyone traveling from Vienna to Prague or vice versa.

We loved it! In fact, so much, came back a second day just to take in the view and have more wine. It was busy with people biking the region over the state holiday. Wines were good, especially the Sauvignon which was outstanding. And the appetizers available, particularly the sun dried tomatoes with almonds, paired perfectly.

We had the best time here! The view is beautiful, and they have a tasting of 5 wines for 195czk. The wine was great and it is truly a great place to visit!

Great little winery with a terrace that looks over the vines & lake.
It’s truly a super cool place to come in the summer they serve food too. The wine is very good & they do tasting sizes from 20kc I would highly recommend trying the as many wines as you can as they have something for everyone. You can buy by the glass or take a bottle for home great to support local wineries by buying direct.

The wines are award winning and this history of this places is something special.

You can access this place by car, bicycle or take the train then make a short walk to this place it’s well worth it especially for the views.

Just WOW! This is a truly unique place. Great wine, good prices and the view is simply divine. Probably my favourite winery in Moravia!

A wonderful two hours of a tour, presentation, tasting and lunch. Staff is outstanding. Highly recommend this stop between Vienna and Prague.
