Barabizna Restaurant - Café

Very tasty food and generous portions that satisfied the appetite of all my family, especially that of my fast-growing 17 year old son! The waiters were very polite and friendly. They checked on us often to see that everything was ok. Other reviews commented that service is slow. The food takes a while to be served but I guess that is partly because it is freshly prepared. This is unlike other food served in Czech that only needs to be reheated. Anyway, we didn't mind waiting as we sat in the outdoor area in summer that has a lovely atmosphere and it was perfect. Only suggestion is that bottled water is quite expensive, so it would be ideal to include the option of water jug. You need plenty of water to wash down the jalapeños and with a family of 5 that adds up to a lot 😉

Excellent in many ways: The place, the atmosphere, the drinks, the service and of course THE FOOD 😋
Perhaps, the only detail is that it is located a bit faraway from the city centre, but the trip is worthy.

The restaurant is beautiful. It is located on the outskirts of Prague. everything in it is decorated and reminiscent of Mexico. The walls are painted in various colors and have many details. The food and service is really good. There is also a parking lot close to the restaurant. The restaurant is definitely recommended and I will definitely stop by the next time I come to Prague

I just fell in love with this place 🧡 Delicious food, nice staff. Wa waited little longer for our order, because place was full, but it definitely worth it. I recommend to make a reservation before arriving.

Amazing interior, very cozy! The food was very tasty and the portions were big! Our waiter was friendly and despite that it took them very long to serve us the food, we highly recommend this place :) there are not many vegetarian options but the veggie burrito was delicious! Good selection of desserts too.

Best mexican style restaurant in Prague. It is bit outside centre but worth a visit. Specially tenderloin steaks and carpaccio with jalapenos are great choices. Both exteriér and interior has rich mexican style decorations. Better reserve table upfront, restaurant is usually full.

Excellent food and service. I had gazpacho and tacos de carne, my friend opted for shrimp. Everything was delicious. One advice: their wooden attachment space to the restaurant is not comfortable is cold weather. The feet are cold, the head is boiling from the heater. You sit in sauna. Go for inside the restaurant option instead. Otherwise - highly recommended!

Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food with a wide range of choices and a very cozy atmosphere which gives you a Mexico vibe.

This place is very nice. The atmosphere and decorations look very authentic, food is delicious and the portions are really huge. We tried frozen margarita - very tasty and refreshing, carpaccio with pesto - that was the best carpaccio that I tried, enchilada querentaro - tasty but quite spicy, tacos de carne - absolutely delicious! The service is very polite and careful. You’d better make a reservation in advance because the place is always full.

Truly the best Mexican food I’ve had in Prague! Large portion sizes and quality taste. Only two vegetarian options, but the quesadilla was amazing and came with guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. Margarita classica was also delicious! Would recommend!

What a pleasant surprise near of Prague! Superb lunch menu, quality size and price. Bernard draft beer well taken care of and served too.
Nice and attentive staff, they offered a water for my dog while sitting outside in the shade and really enjoy delicious Vegetarian burrito 🌯

Hard to believe can find such a rich Mexican atmosphere restaurant, remember to book the table in advance, love the decoration, and the food as well as the music. Ordered a tortilla with salmon, portion is quite big, but the waiter will pack the unfinished food for u automatically. Also tasted the passion fruit lemonade, love it. Will definitely come again, and it takes 20 min drive from the Center, but checked the public transportation is still convenient.

Very good Mexican in a nice setting. Quesadilla was excellent. They don't have empanadas and tap water, but that's nitpicking. Very recommended.
Also, book in advance.

Friends here in Prague took us out for Mexican food ..it was great .very tasty ,big portions and we loved the atmosphere. Good value for quality..2800kr for 4 with drinks ..

Sorry I didn’t take a picture of the food, it was so good I had no time to take a picture 😌. We enjoyed from the moment we arrived till we left! The service was friendly! I would definitely recommend and come back to this restaurant!

One of the best latin food places in Prague! The theme is Mexican, but it also had some other dishes. Not a lot of tacos, great enchiladas, lots of steak options and a tasty margarita on the rocks. They also have blended but we went with the classic. They don't have much parking and usually it seems it's best to make a reservation. Very busy place.

So far the best mexican restaurant i ve tried. Must to try: quesadilla and churros!

Really outstanding place with great food, lovely staff and really nice vibe. Great pick for vegetarians as well as carnivores, food is made with care and attention to details while the menu is really varied. Food portions are also really generous. Make sure to make a reservation prior to visit, so you won’t miss a chance to grab a bite here!

This place has amazing atmosphere and design. It’s always full so you must book a table in advance. The food and drinks look and taste delicious. As this place is really busy it takes time until you get your drinks and food. If you come hungry you should order starter otherwise you wait about 45 - 60 minutes for your main course. Overall it was nice experience and I will come again for sure! :)
