Červená Lhota Castle

If I could, I would have given 4,5 Stars. Why? Because the Castle is suppose to have water around and for the past few years it’s only been a mud🤷🏼‍♂

We did a Tour (Podkroví) with 2 kids (6&4) which lasted 30min and they managed😅😎

Wonderful and beautiful Castle …
Everything is fully restored and seems like the owner just left a minute before. Therefore it is necessary that you only can guided visits through the castle to avoid that things are being stolen

Prices are fair - guided tours are very on time - Worth every penny 👍🏻

We visited Červená Lhota island castle during hot summer weekend and it was not very busy there. We did not go inside the castle and just enjoyed a short walk around the parkland. The nature is rich there, there is lot of shade so one can hide from the sun light.

There are few booths with toys, refreshments and souvenirs. Apart from that, you can find cheap toilets and two bistros.

Excellent trip with the kids, even made at the beginning of December (by that time parking was free of charge, otherwise it's 60 Czk). Nice walk around the lake (1 km, follow yellow marking). Spectacular views possibly every season. Check if guided tour inside is provided, it's about 40 minutes, we'll prepared and even kids liked it (in December it was focused on Xmas habits of nobel family).

Absolutely stunningly beautiful castle! It has a very interesting history. A great place to visit. There are many historical sites in the area so I definitely recommend visiting to anyone who likes history and castles.

An 1h and a half from Český Krumlov. Perfect day trip if you like to spend time in the beautiful nature or exploring castles. The castle and the surrounding area are very good managed. There are plenty of souvenir shops, coffee bars, even hotels. Parking is available for 60kr. Toilet costs 5kr which is hilarious but inside is clean. I did enjoyed the area and I took a lot of photos. Gorgeous place!

It's a beautiful place to visit. We had such a nice walk around the castle. Me & my kids love visiting this stunning castle. Looking forward to be back during the opening season!

A very very beautiful waterside red castle!
It is advisable to hike, fish, sunbathe, enjoy the scenery, or just to daze. Of cause, the best thing should be done is to take photo again and again with continuous surprises.

Beautiful little castle surrounded by water. Characteristic color. Two tours - attic rooms and interiors, each takes less than an hour and costs around 100 crowns. Gift shop in the castle area with souvenirs. Easily accessible from train station in Kardašova Řečice either on foot or on bike - around 10 km and no hills, great road, almost no cars, suitable for children. Closeby are two restaurants.

Such an amazing castle, like you're in the movie! Or a fairytale! Be sure to check the castle park and in the vicinity you also have small pond with pubs beside.

Worth it! Very nice! For the parking you need to pay 60 czk.

Unfortunately the lake was drain but it was still was an amazing place to visit. Hope to return one day :)
