OREA Resort Horizont

Probably one of the best hotel and services I have ever experienced. Very nice and helpful stuff. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent, for kids and also for adults. The coffee in the morning and prosecco, great start of vacation day. We will be coming back definitely, also recommended to our friends with kids.

Great hotel in the Sumava forest. The staff was excelent. We have got a half board, everything was perfect, the selection was very plentiful.

Large variety of food. Restaurant personnel very kind. My daughter was very happy about all kids activities.

Absolutely great experience. Got upgraded room for free with beatiful mountain view. Room was in perfect condition - clean, well equipped. Facilities in the hotel are plentiful - except for massages everything was free to use. Had half board - great selection of food, quality was very good. Extra points for free coffee prepared by barista in the morning. Lobby bar pretty well stocked - like 8 types Gin, plenty of drinks etc.

Best hotel I’ve been in a while ! The staff was the most kind and welcoming. I’ve rarely seen a hotel so dog friendly. Very well located as well (hikes starting from the hotel itself), the surrounding was beautiful to visit in a snowy winter. I recommend !

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The best was definitely the non weekend day as during the weekend the hotel was very busy and the restaurant's food was not as good as during the week. The staff at the check in/out counter were really friednly, the staff at the restaurant less so. The view from our room on the 4th floor was amazing, you could see as far as the Alps.
There were many walks in the area and the hotel was a short drive from other interesting places. Car was a must as the hotel was quite far from the nearest town.
There was a non smoking rule even on the balconies but some people were still smoking there.

Very nice hotel surrounded by nature. Breakfast and dinner have diverse dishes, only queue for the coffee in the morning is a disadvantage. The restaurant a-la carte has quite a small space, so one evening it was full and we didn't have a dinner there. Otherwise the hotel is really good. Only avoid massage, it costs a lot but they barely touch you, no muscle pressure, real disappointment.

Excellent hotrl great attention to details, super family friendly, food is amazing, location is superb. We stopped here on our tour through Europe. I wish we had more time , we would have stayed longer. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place!!!

This was my second stay at this hotel. This time we travelled as an extended family (grandparents, teenage kids) and there were things to do for everyone of us (hiking, enjoying the pool and spa, building muscles in the gym, or just relaxing at the balcony). The staff were very attentive and friendly. We had a wonderful stay and definitely will be back soon!

One of the best hotels 🏨 for families 👪 I have seen. Try their family room. It is spacy, well designed and equipped. Two TVs 📺 📺, three beds 🛌. TV has YouTube so your kids can watch everything they love ❤ in whatever language you like 👍.
Kids' playground inside the hotel is one of the best we have seen. The same applies for animators on place. They are there all the time ⏲. Your kids can dance 💃 during the disco hours.
The personel is awesome 👌. Smiling all the time. Helping all the time.
So my advice is come and see, taste and enjoy this beautiful place with its nature.

Really nice hotel with small wellness. The idea to have pool in the evening only for adults is great. You can start your track directly from the hotel, no need to use a car. In the hotel bar they serve a waste variety of cocktails which are being served by a robot! That was a real highlight for everyone!

Amazing stay for small kids (and their parents too). We loved the kids corner just next to the restaurant and also the equipped swimming pool.
Together with the excellent restaurant (we opted for buffet) it made us really feel sorry to leave the place.

The Šumava mountains are a great place. Beautiful natural reservation. The hotel itself was old but typical of mountainous regions. Service was great, the social amenities excellent and there are so many places nearby fr hiking trips, but you also have loads to do right in the hotel. Great for families eve with little kids as they have a toddlers play room and a pool for both adults and children and bubbly hot tubs. Loved it.

Great place! I was with my husband on our honeymoon and we have decided to stay at Orea Horizont. And we loved it!

Friendly staff - especially 2 guys from Lobby bar; good service, clean rooms, great cocktails, excellent food and beer. I also loved sauna.

Definitely will come back here next time to enjoy sumava.

I like that you have connected databases and all data were in the system as we stayed before in Orea Hotel Pyramida in Prague.
As well measures linked to health&safety due to Covid-19 situation are well executed and we felt safe everywhere.

Nicely renovated hotel, good views. Mostly families with kids. I was expecting more from the catering for the price (it was good, but not great). The a la carte restaurant looked like a fallback option, not an option you'd primarily choose.

Positive:
- Very nice place
- Very helpful staff
- Great food (breakfast/dinner)
- Clean environment
Negative:
- Low quality of swimming pool, whirlpool (just 4 seats in whirlpool for such big hotel is not enough specially during the weekend) . Overall look of swimming area - based on information from staff renovation is in budget plan for end of 2022

To be honest I didn´t expect the beauty of the hotel. I guess there is no better place to stay in surrounding of Zelezna Ruda and the hill called Pancir. If you pay for breakfast and the dinner you can´t do better. Delicisous food and rich variety of it. Cozy rooms, comfortable bedroom... Thank you!

I can rate only the hotel bar. Few mistakes, but fixed by incredible friendly and polite staff. Seriously, I can’t remember, whether I have ever faced such a great service in any place in my home country (Czech). Service is exceptional a offer is really nice considering the competition around. Really nice and thanks to the bar service for making our holiday better.
