Lešany - Obecní Úřad

První zmínka o vsi pochází z roku 1185, kdy ji kníže Friedrich daroval rytířskému řádu johanitů, kteří část drželi až do roku 1421. Prvním skutečným písemným dokladem je darovací listina z 13. století od Bedřicha Lesanyho. V Lešanech se vystřídala dlouhá řada vladyků. Dnes jsou součástí obce i vesnice Břežany a Nová Ves a žije tu kolem 800 obyvatel.

The first mention of the village dates back to 1185, when Prince Friedrich donated it to the Order of the Knights of St. John, who held part of it until 1421. However, the first real written document is a 13th century deed of donation from Bedřich Lesany. A long line of owners were changing in Lešany. Today, the villages of Břežany and Nová Ves are part of Lešany and around 800 inhabitants live here.
