Gorgeous castle, with an amazing visiting experience. In the beginning you get a short introduction, then roam the site on your own, with boards with info everywhere. Really large, really well handled approach to its partial reconstruction.

Beautiful castle with nice views of the surrounding fields.

Easy walk up, suitable for anyone who can walk up a couple of flights of stairs.

What a beautiful place to visit!
I have been there with my family & we've had a nice time. Castle is partially ruined, but it doesn't matter, it's wonderful one.
Definitely worth the trip.

Very good place for vacation or trip.
Nice 'statues' around (ear, eyes,head,...look for signs)
Ideal for mushroom picking..
Maks sure to visit one of the biggest castles in Czechia...

Excellent find, recommended by our Chateau Heralec staff. Great drive in the countryside to get to castle. Lots of history & relics at the castle, however do note the information signs are in Czech, not English.

A must if you are in the area, the castle provides beautiful views & is amazingly well preserved.

Great place if you want to see one of my favourite castles in this area nicely restored not to much with a touch of modern...beautiful views best route to get there is via my hometown of Humpolec otherwise the GPS takes you cross country
....

Great view! The tour is open without guide so you have as much time as you want (the 15 min speech about history of the castle starts every hour at 00)

Partially cerovered ruins of medieval castle.After short oprional history introduction you can freely move within castle till end of bussines hours.
