If you're looking for an easy hike for beginners I'd really recommend this one. The view is beautiful and it's worth the time. The hike takes around an hour and a half, the only thing I wouldn't recommend would be hiking in hot weather as it gets a bit harder to hike then. But overall 9.5/10 I'd love to revisit it.

The famous arch! The hike up can be a little bit of stress, especially on a hot day. But there are plenty of shady spots to sit and rest up. Bring water, maybe a granola bar. The initial part is with the burnt out trees, but 15 mins later you hit the green trees, and then it is green all the way. There can be a long line to get into the arch area ticket, under the arch there is a small restaurant, and plenty of benches to sit. There are many spots to walk around and see the arch from different vantage points.

Its exceptionally good...the trek roads well maintained, the area preserved. Its great to have this near to me. We need more time to explore the area. The forest fire has literally finished the mountains but nature is rejuvenating itself and its great to see that...

Huge area covered with different paths. You can travel both on foot and by bike. I advise you to go along the blue path first of all, it is quite simple, there are few people on it, but it is also very diverse and super beautiful, I will attach the video below. That's a great option for outdoor activities

Incredible national park! Maybe even more special - although also sad - after the forest fire of summer 2022. By now (May 2023) the most essential spots have reopened and I would definitely recommend a visit. Before you go, do check all the information about availability of attractions, parking and transport online, as some things may still be affected by the closing due to the fire earlier and the latest information is on their website (also in English or German).

Last year...everything is fleeting...I didn't manage to visit this place before the fire
2022 - In late July, firefighters battled a massive blaze in the Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the northwest of the Czech Republic.
But still amazing place

I visited the Bohemia Switzerland national park as the final thankfully relaxed part of a trekking trip from Prague. My breath was taking away by the views.

** EASY TRAVEL GUIDE **

1. Get train from Prague to Decin using cd.cz website, we got EC174 Berliner and it was really good. Book the tickets 24hrs or more ahead to enjoy seating.

2. From Decin, on exitting the central station on your right you will find the bus stop. Take bus 434 to Hrensko Nabr. station or even further but you will skip some views. On our bus was cash only so make sure you have ~50 CZK per person cash.

3. Hike to Pravcicka Brana (famous Pravcicka Gate - natural arch) using the red hike symbol (see photos). Hike takes 1 hr 30 mins going up and 45 mins going down.

As a family of 4 we managed to do it in one day and returning with the 18:02 EC177 Berliner Train. On top you have 2 restaurants and entry to the highest point is 80 CZK - really worth it!

Apps we used (see photos):
- Mapy.cz - offline maps of whole Czech Republic
- IDOS - bus information for Decin - Hrensko
- pid litacka - local transport in Prague and tickets

A beautiful park which provides fascinating natural rock formations and forest. Although scarred by recent fire it is no less remarkable. The natural rock arch and towers are amazing as is the structure, partially carved into the rock next to the natural rock arch. A must visit.

Absolutely stunning. It’s a paradise. Pictures absolutely doesn’t do any justice to it. Must visit place once in a lifetime. I wish I could rate more to it. It’s a long way hike but absolutely worth it. Make sure that you plan and go, so as to manage the time. One can pack the food and go to eat at the top with the beautiful view or else there are 2 restaurants at the top. At the top there is entry ticket of around €3.50. High recommend to visit this place.

I can see why the filmed Narnia here—definitely one of the most magical places in Europe. I especially loved the snow. Great hiking, lovely rock formations, and not too hard to reach from the city of Prague.

Amazing and beautiful National Park. About a 3KM walk to the top and the arch. Beautiful hike. Views from the top are amazing. The Falcons Nest serves food and drinks at the top.

Parking about 6 Euros.

Entrance to the park about 1 hour 45 min from Prague. Alternatively, can take a train to Bad Schandau (Germany) and take the bus to Hrensko to walk up to the park. Driving gives much more flexibility.

Absolutely stunning, beautiful views from the peak. We took a private tour from Prague, this is advisable if you are really interested to go around the places. Very good hike to the top, might be little bit tough for beginners. When you reach the top you will be amazed with the views, take water with you. There is a boat ride too in this park, steep descent to the river, 20 min boat ride, then again walking back the main road. Good hike and scenic trip for a day.
